We arranged our 40th year (Class of 1979 BSc Ag AU) reunion here in Sep 2019. Excellent facilities, room, good food and support. Very organized staff for business meets. Reasonable and is on main road. Weak WiFi, basic rooms and hot water (7:30 -9 in AM and PM). Close to lake and boating, Kurinji Andavar Temple.

This is bit old trip but missed to share so thought of highlighting it. First time planned to drive in Ghat road and as small kid will have some frequent stop resulted to reach ghat section by 5 PM evening and can sense what is waiting for me. Started journey morning 8 am and taken break near Krishnagiri and then continued towards Salem road .Excellent road and everytime do enjoy to drive on this road . But as said ghat road started by 5 PM and very soon started dark evening and put Fog Light and started 40 KM ghat road . Some portions are really scary and narrow so for first timer always not good to drive in evening so plan effective way to reach by 2/3 pm near ghat section so that in next 2 hours can cover it. So slowly started journey to uphill and reached so,me how at destination hotel SV International, Kodai on for 3 days trip. Food and stay was awesome , sightseen gone which are really good. tried to cover cycling with wife for double carry cycle to cover entire Lake and later understood that it is tooo tough task .So ended up calling car to rescue and handed over cycle on half way. We have stayed in this hotel during may month season..its was very good experience..food quality to be improved a little bit..and all of the staffs are like Mr.Nova and Mr.Surya very nice and polite..They were very helpful and guided for local access points

In the month of March, six days i am stayed in this hotel. I am returned back to this same hotel after 5 years, renovated rooms, hall and restaurant was noticed. And rooms are available with balcony styles and wooden floors. The staff are very concerned and customer friendly receptionist, Manager and GM. Advised to keep the clean. Intercom services not working properly. Advised to keep professional bell boys for the services. Affordable price rooms for all the category travelers.

We booked this hotel online on Yatra.com. The rooms shown were beautiful with a nice balcony (for the one which I booked). Also, the front doesn't show the location nearby. With so many spare part shops nearby, it seems to be in spare shop itself. When we reached there, the receptionist took us to the the room (Now comes the best part). It was truly an experience in itself.........room..........without any window....without any balcony......with only one light.........with an omnipresent bad odour.....not at all accessible wifi and long list of issues. When we told that person that we booked the room with balcony, he told that they have only these rooms available as all are given conference team (Don't know which company holds conference in such a pathetic hotel). We eventually had to walk out as there was no option left.
