The worst Hotel. The front office is probably run by illiterate unprofessional people

I stayed at Stayotel hotel in dumdum, kolkata for a few days and it was the worst decision of my life. The staff were unprofessional and rude beyond belief. When we first arrived, we had to wait for 30 minutes outside because nobody was coming to take our luggage, even after we told the front desk about it. The front office was probably operated by local low-class people who had no idea how a front office works. We booked this hotel from booking.com only for one reason: this place was close to one of our relatives. Despite having bad experiences, we still wanted to stay two more days and we let them know two days prior to our checkout day that we wanted to extend our stay. We also reminded them one night before. The following morning at 11 am, they told us, "Sir, you have to check out in 30 minutes!" It was a shocking experience. Apparently, they didn't do anything to extend our stay. There was no communication between front office staff. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone who has previously lived in a decent hotel with a decent staff. It's really difficult for someone to live in a hotel with uneducated front office. The only good thing about the hotel was the security guard. He seemed much more capable of running the front office than the ones who were currently working. He was the only person who treated us with respect and kindness. He was the only reason why we didn't leave the hotel earlier. This hotel is a nightmare. Stay away from it. It is a scam and a trap. You will regret staying here. There are many better options in kolkata. Don't let this hotel ruin your trip and your mood. Stayotel hotel in dumdum, kolkata is the worst hotel ever.

Hotel is Situated so near to Airport. Food is so far good and Tasty. Rooms are So Comfortable and Cozy with all Modern Amenities. Only the Negative thing is, Rude and Unhelpful Front Office Staff's, Specially The Duty Manager and Travel Desk Lady. Don't Expect any Services From them if you wish to stay here. The Staff's are so Unprofessional and Doesn't know Hospitality which is so Important in Hotel Industry.

In my 65 years of traveling experience, this is the first time I have come across a hotel which does not seem to have a fixed rack rate. Each of the staff members manning the reception quoted a figure out of their head, even standing next to each other! And when you point out the contradiction, the knee- jerk response is, oh it's a corporate rate, oh, it's a discounted rate! Very poor quality room, even poorer service. Extremely poor quality food, the breakfast we had was supposed to be a buffet, there were three items, two on display and one omelette made to order! We had asked for an Innova to pick us up from airport, we were sent an Ertiga instead. The driver arrived thirty minutes after we landed! Very congested poorly ventilated banquet halls. Unhelpful, argumentative staff. Only good thing is a good shower with excellent water pressure. Not even worth a single star.

It was an amazing stay, staffs are very cooperative and honest. Rooms were clean and large enough to accommodate 3 people. Location is very much easy to navigate. Breakfast was also yummm. It was worth stay, will visit again for sure.

Stay at premium nest this time around was extraordinary brilliant.It was my birthday stay which was more warmer than I had otherwise comprehended.It was a nice hygienic stay....The staff was very polite and nice.Looking forward to being back there soon.
