We stayed at the 2bedroom cottage for 3 nights in October'23 and what a wonderful stay it was. Everything about the place was unique and special..be it the ambience, the hospitality, the staff, the location, the rooms and the food. Can't thank the staff enough for their prompt service.I fell in love with the resort the moment I walked in. Rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Food is excellent.. The lawns are very well maintained and decorated. They even showed us around in their golf cart.. The breakfast buffet was too good.. They even customized food according to our requirements.. Thanks Brij vasundhara for everything.. Will come there again very very soon

Perfect base for Govardhan & 84 krose parikrama

Shri Radha Brij Vasundhara Resort and Spa is probably the best property located in Vrindavan. The main gate / entrance to the property is on the Parikrama Marg ( a metalled road and a maintained dirt track run side by side to the boundary railing of Giriraj Govardhan). We had the notion that Giriraj Govardhan would be visible from the gate itself or from the rooms, but that is not so. Beyond the boundary railing, there is dense forest and hence not visible from the property. The whole property is spread over a lot of space and when we entered by car through the back gate, we first passed through private cottage enclaves all named after different rivers. The section named Tungabhadra is the only one which is part of the resort and we put up in Family Cottage 23 which is just beside the spa. The cottage opened into a expansive drawing room with a small wall TV but a very big sofa which can be used to sleep also. On the left is the kitchen area with a sink and tap and electric kettle. There are cabinets in the kitchen to keep things but no other gadgets. The master bedroom is on the left of the drawing room, and quite spacious with wooden bedside tables and a large table to place your luggage on. The bathroom is spacious and tastefully done. The toiletries provided are of good quality. The other bedroom is actually an extension of the drawing room, separated by a wooden partition which is high enough but not up to the ceiling. There is another bathroom attached to this bedroom, albeit a smaller in size. There is only one geyser but it is connected to both bathrooms. The beds are of decent width and comfortable, though the spring mattresses seem a bit old, hence noisy and when you change sides, the person sleeping beside you also moves. The AC in the second room was a tad bit noisy. Overall the stay experience was extraordinary and very cosy for a family of four. The highlight of our stay was Matki the restaurant of the resort. The complimentary breakfast was served as a buffet and had options like aloo paratha, idli, bread toast, tea coffee, cornflakes, fruit juices, poha among other things. We noted that on the morning of the third day, the variety of dishes increased as there were more number of guests. Most importantly, the food served was very very tasty and sumptuous. The staff were very courteous and catered to every request. Four mineral water bottles were complimentary in the room and they would refill with RO water whenever asked for, even at 11 pm in the night. Much appreciated was their gesture to allow us to take food from the breakfast for my mother in the cottage. The room service is commendable but the same item in the menu is charged more when served in the room than when eaten in the restaurant. The food served -- we tried a few dishes during our stay -- was very tasty and fine dining quality. Whenever requested, the chef would customise the food ordered to suit our taste and palate. We asked for boiled vegetables and asked them to replace beans with cabbage -- the chef provided the exact thing. What we loved and noted about their overall demeanour during the entire duration of our stay was that the needs and requirements of guests was always their priority and they went the extra distance to make our stay memorable. The property is partially geron-friendly -- it has a golf cart to transport for older guests with mobility challenges. The Wi-Fi in the room was a downer and had a mind of it's own.

I had taken a group of 11 for a Yoga retreat. The resort is green and beautiful and has a beautiful and positive vibe. The lawns look beautiful, 2BHK cottages are spacious but cleanliness could have been better. Staff is kind and tries to help with whatever they can. Food is good as well

Dirty, disrespectful for Krishna devotees. dangerous

1. It is dirty as mentioned by other reviewers 2. The design is anti-devotee in some ways. When I lay down on the bed, my legs were towards Sr Govardhanji. It is unacceptable. 3. I believe the sofa was of leather. Again, a no-no for a devotee 4. Someone tried to open my main door at midnight. And imagine this happened when there were cops on campus since their supervisor was on campus. 5. Monkeys broke the side mirror of my car. I am not sure if it is monkeys and some human beings. I was told it was probably monkeys. 6. Room service is pretty lazy. I ordered a cold drink. It didn't arrive for one hour. I went and bought from the market myself. 7. Bathroom, bucket, handles, etc are super dirty like INR 1000 per night hotel. 8. Lock to the main door was pretty lousy. If someone pulled it hard, it would have come out easily, I guess, that is why someone tried to open the door at midnight. 9. I will NEVER stay here again. 10. They did not clear food plates quickly outside a few rooms so poor monkeys were feeding off from left overs, which is risky for guests. 11. Some people may still enjoy it, given the outdoor space, ability to walk around and right next to Govardhan.

VERY DISAPPOINTED STAY

The hotel grounds are beautiful but the lack of maintenance on the rooms is pathetic. Locks falling off the door, not clean and staff not very well trained. Check in very hectic and they are more concerned about the wedding business then groups. We had problems that were not ASAP taken care of. I have been staying there many years but this is last visit for me and my groups. Food basic and lack of variety. I wanted to give a better rating but due to some of the above I just could not. Be careful to check holes in bathroom walls that others can look into!!!
