Place is amazing just 500mtr walk to Irupu falls entrance,Booked the rooms over the phone and reached the place around 11.30a.m .Staffs are amazing helped us to goto Rafting,Starters, Dinner and Breakfast was amazing...A+,Also location is awesome for all age group,out door activities like, Billiards,Carrom,Cricket,Badminton,TT etc .Recommended for Family and friends

Sad that my rating went to a 3 star from a potential 4-5 star and the only reason is the unpleasant check-in experience. Previous day I had specifically asked when I can come since I had a large group (>10) and the manager of this place specifically said by 11:30. We go at 12:00.. tired and wanting to rest for some time since there were 4 aged people in the group. Lo and behold, to our surprise the 'manager' with whom we spoke doesn't live there and manages everything over the phone and does a bad job with it. The cooks/helpers who are now the new managers weren't expecting us and looked surprised. The room that we were supposed to be given was not free..reason.. the guests have gone to the falls and not come back yet!! (12 pm). Called the remote manager.. no help. It took almost 2 hours to finally get our room. I must confess our bad experience ended there. Rooms were basic.. what do u expect.. it is the jungle. What a location!! Right next to the entrance, surrounded by coffee plantations, raining.. simply unbelievable. Service was fantastic, food was great and the big room was really big. Since it was monsoons we didn't get hot water in 2 of the bath rooms but who cares? There was one witha geyser. Simply go for this place if u want a great experience in the middle of the jungle, right next to the falls area. You will have a great time. It has good outdoor activities as well.

Travelling has been my passion from long. I just need a long weekend and an affordable destination to head to. Likewise, I have headed for a short trip recently to Kutta seeking for some wildlife and a complete rest. And I luckily came across the Yamini Greens - Sherlock's Retreat property. It's a home stay cum resort located amidst the beautiful greeneries very near to Nagahole Wildlife Sanctuary. The resort is ideal for family gateways, outing with dear friends and even for the corporate team building activities. It gives immense opportunities of indoor/ outdoor games, coffee plantation trail, wildlife safaris and not-so-hectic excursions. I was fortunate to get my stay in Room No. 06 on the second floor and the best experience was the view of the lush green mountain ranges in a stone-throw distance. I cannot miss the chance to thank Mr. Cliford, Mr, Ganesh, Mr. Arun and Mr. Puneet - the heart and soul of the property and it will be very difficult to express their hard-work to make our stay an amazing one. The food is delicious and you ask for anything, the above mentioned personnel try their best to provide it to you. My sincere gratitude to Sherlock's entire management for their effort to make our stay a memorable one. I will definitely come back here soooooonnn.

An amazing place located close to famous Irupu Falls. This beautiful resort/home stay has everything that you need on a quaint holiday. 8 acres of greenery and and serene nature. You feel refreshed and re energized. The resort manager and staff are very courteous and cook excellent food. Mr. Clifford was an excellent host and got us everything that we needed. They also have Ducks, Emu and Turkey in their bird collection. Trek to the top of the plantation, its a good work out.

My friends and I, like most people, started scrambling in search of good resorts for a quick getaway for the New Year's. That's when we stumbled upon Yamini Green, Coorg. After speaking to Rashmee (Owner) over the phone, who was very helpful and responsive, we made our decision and booked the place. The place is located in the forest range of Nargarhole National Park, some 230Kms away from Bangalore. One has to drive around 40-45Kms within the Nagarhole National Park to reach the place and this drive was absolutely blissful. We spotted a few Langoors, Wild boars and lots and lots of deers. After reaching Kutta, Yamini Green is only about 8-10 Kms away. The place is not at all difficult to find if you have Google maps on. Once we reached the place, we were pleasantly surprised - the sereneness of the locality, cleanliness of the place, big dining area and even bigger play area with a lot of sports equipment - exceeded our expectations. The staff welcomed us and guided to our cottages which were clean and well maintained. For the night of New Year’s Mr.Clifford’s staff had prepared delicious dinner with a lot of varieties. There was music and a big bon fire for all the guests to enjoy, mingle and chat. The guests looked happy and seemed to enjoy the very chilled weather amidst the nature. We rang in the New year with the calmness and satisfaction that would not have been possible in the city - all thanks to this wonderful place. Iruppu falls is just stones throw away from Yamini green. So if you are going here, its not something you would want to miss. (Opens at 8AM, Closes at 5:30 PM). There are also 2 slots for Safari in the Nagarahole National Park - one’s at 8AM and another at 3PM. I would suggest you to prebook your slots and preferably go for the 6AM slot. Overall, it was a great experience and we would definitely recommend this place to everyone and I plan to visit this place again soon.
