I have been visiting them since 2012. Very homely stay with attention to detail. The placement of huts gives a laidback holiday vibe. There are yoga classes in the morning for the fitness seeking. In the peak season, they have an in-house restaurant with excellent Indian cuisine.

Shanti’s is really friendly until you tell them you changed your mind and will stay somewhere else because the reality was different than our expectations. From that moment we got to see the truth people behind the scenes. Which wasn’t a pretty face. Including yelling from Bobby’s wife. Which we were later told, they were kicked out from a beach property to a third row property. And probably that was the ignition when we said we wanted cancel our booking stay only 1 night, paid for two, and move on. But they made an ass out of themselves and created this embarrassing situation. This is what money does to people and where we could see how genuine they are. They rather have unsatisfied customers staying, then happy customers leaving earlier than planned.

Having been to Goa many times before and not visiting Agonda Bobby his family and his team make it all the worth while to go back and stay next time I can. Within minutes of booking the room Bobby asked if we needed picking up from anywhere. As this was our first port of call it was an airport run of over 90 minutes. We arrived in good time and had Bobby show us to our very basic but nice hut. There was a net over the bed to keep the notes out and a ceiling fan which provided a little slither of cool air. Our shower wasn’t hot but you can’t have it all down there. Bobbys team provided excellent service through out our stay and even had drinks delivered to the room. Would definitely return and I look forward to seeing how they can develop the Shanti Village further

I throughly enjoyed my stay at Shanti Village with a group that was visiting Southern India. The cottages are wonderfully rustic, clean and comfortable and colorfully inviting. The best part of our stay was the warm attentive hospitality of our hosts, Bobby and Shalu, and their attentive staff. We were treated as family. Every effort to make our stay enjoyable was offered. In several cases they went out of their way to be helpful. This is not a five star luxury resort, but it some ways it meets or exceeds the standards of such a place.
