Sagar Sangam is located in the most picturesque location on the banks of the Karli River and of course the sea on just crossing the road. If you are going for Scuba diving it is the most convenient place to stay. Cleanliness is its USP and run by a very lovely family who are always available to help you with any of your queries. Rooms are spacious with a huge balcony overlooking the river and you get to see the most beautiful sunrise right from your balcony ( go for the first floor rooms). There is a beautiful dock on the river bank just downstairs where you can spend your evenings. They also have a floating rooms ( more convenient for couples only) but it has an amazing feel. They serve you the most amazing local food for breakfast. For your lunch and dinner you can explore the places nearby and the restaurant at MTDC IISDA which is just a mins walk. The place has proper generator backup and all amenities. Home away from home.. Amazing stay.. Getting a chance will come back again.

sagar sangam is located at at the sceneic strech between the Karli river and the sea. all the rooms open to the unobstructed river view (ground floor as well!! - we stayed in a group on different floors) the best is the second floor, where the large french windows give you an absolutely breathtaking river view from the comfort of your bed. At this point you almost forget that you are on a local weekend vacation the resort also has a small private jetty from where boats pick you up for sight seeing and water sports. The resort is managed under the personal supervision of the owner trio who make sure the needs and comfort of their guests are well looked after. we had apprehensions about vegetarian food in a coastal location, known for its sea food. but owner 'Parabs' ensured we not only get pure vegetarian food, they took care of the diverse dietary restrictions of the group. the food is cooked fresh in the hygienic and sparkling kitchen under direct supervision of Mrs. Parab. she ensured tasty varieties in each meal of the three days that we stayed there. i simply cant wait to get back to Tarkarly and Sagar Sangam!!!

Saagar Sangam is an outstanding resort @ Malvan Devbag beach in with very good amenities for family and friends who wish to Visit Malvan region for a vacation. The place: this is a river facing resort which has breathtaking views of the Tarli river and an awesome nature behind it. You can witness the sunrise from the hills which is in backyard of the river. But the place is in such a way that it's around 25 meters from the sea as well which is on the other side of the resort. Facilities are really great for the price we pay at that remote place. We had 2 panoramic view rooms for our friends for 3 days. The rooms were ultra clean and nicely managed. Spacious rooms with an amazing view of the river and the nature. 10 meter walk and you find the sea as well. That's the Wonder of this place called Malvan. Food is great as well.. I liked their concept of cooking hot food only after they receive the order. The principle of not wasting the food by preparing early is one of the best policies they follow. So, if you need food you have to order an hour prior. Staff are courteous which feels like you have to go back to this place again and again. It's very near to Tarkarli beach. The Malvan jetty is around 6 KMS from this resort.

We booked out room in the resort for four days after reading reviews on the different websites. The tariff is high to the kind of service offered. You have to order food two-three hours in advance. Even after ordering the person on the reception will not tell the menu and they served us the same food which was cooked in the afternoon and told us that for one person they can't cook. Tea in the room was priced at Rs 60/-. Veg Thali cost - Rs 130 and if you take dal and rice extra it would cost you Rs 280. We saw most of the guest eating outside tapri and then realised the reason. No difference in view it is the same on all floors but charges differ immensely. Only plus point is the good view which most of the quality resorts in the area offer . Do your research and then make your decision

My wife and I stayed 2 nights in mid-December. The hotel's location was in a nice peaceful location. The setting was great as its nestled between the backwaters on one side and the sea on the other. The hotel is right on the backwaters with its own private little jetty. The beach is just a 2 minute walk away. The room on the 2nd floor was awesome with an incredible view of the backwaters - keep curtains open at night and watch the sunrise from your bed! Things just got better with great sitting place in the garden right on the edge of the backwater with some great food from their kitchen - the prawns and kingfish were absolutely wonderful in that setting. The father-son owner duo are widely travelled - if you can get to spend some time over their stories, that's a perfect trip! Most of all, just enjoy the place for its peace and beauty.
