Amazing stay with the best amenities. The property was a heritage property with old time charm and breathtaking view of Brindavan Gardens in Mysore. The staff were super courteous. Special thanks to Madhav, the chef and the house keeping staff Nirmala along with the front desk for guiding us through and through. Overall had a great stay.

Garden Café restaurant manager Misguided on café timing though restaurant was empty we came at 345 pm I asked for food he told kitchen is closed and the will be hi tea available at 4 pm onwards Very unexpected response One trainee female staff was courteous enough to come and take order We asked waiter to come to Take order else he ignored as well It seem only VIP government officials are given treatment here …🤬

So, where to begin? Paid for a king room on agoda.com. Was fraudulently shoe horned into a queen room. Receptionist was indifferent to say the least. Any query posed was promptly responded to with a whole lot of mumbling. Doubt even she knew what she was mumbling. And to whom. The room was right behind the reception and next to the kitchen. A quiet room it definitely was not. Now to the rest: Has WiFi that can be described as iffy at best. Weird placement of sockets meant that one had to charge devices at odd locations all over the room. No exhaust fan in the toilet. Smelly towels. No toiletries. Dingy lighting all over. Asked for a refill of drinking water (glass milk bottle). This wasn't acceded to. Complimentary breakfast was by far the worst we have ever had to date! It takes great talent to mess up something as common as a medu vada. But yes it was achieved impeccably! The person manning the live counter kept taking vanishing and was replaced by two alternate persons in slow succession. This after highlighting it to the front office staff. An elderly couple that had arrived before us were losing their wits. A waiter who isn't fit to even be hired for peeling potatoes in a communal kitchen physically nudged us. Twice! Fifteen years ago, I would have decked him without a second thought! Property has by far the most philistine employees alive! Avoid at all costs!!!

We reserved the Royal Orchid Brindavan Garden Palace and Spa for 2 nights and it was not enough, we really enjoyed the hotel (we stayed in a King Room) the room is vary spacious and comfortable and it offers a beautifully balcony overlooking the Brindavan garden, service from the team at the hotel was excellent all around, form Reception, Security (who helped delivering the bags to the room) as well as the F&B Team! Thumbs up to the Hotel manager for his leadership with his team!

Ideal for a peaceful stay, particularly during the week. Staff is friendly and helpful. Food is excellent. Not too garlicky. Or too spicy. The breakfast spread was super. So was dinner. Thank you,Royal Orchid.
