This hotel is simply best with large rooms, basic amenities and located in the centre of Manali. Owner is very modest and the staffs never ask for tips. The Restaurant beside the reception serves delicious meals, though they stopped delivering deserts and soups. Overall restaurant is good. Charge for 1 room is 1100 Rs. with heater in winter, and 800 without heater. Bathroom is large and have geyser but you have to wait at least 25 mins for the water to be warm enough when it snows. Remember, this hotel is very cheap in price so you can't expect ckean towels, sheets and blankets while you are staying, but it's ok to ask them as they are very friendly. I am not giving 5 star because this hotel has a power outage issue. That won't make your room cold, but it must be resolved. Finally, if want ti spend more on adventures and visiting sites rather than staying in a luxurious hotel, then this hitel is best for you.

It's really a very good hotel. My 1 st choice was Kunzam(@Head of mall road) But after seeing this hotel (Rock Regency) I found it very comfortable and it's at middle of main mall road. If your budget is 1000 or nearby you can take this. Hospitality is very good specially (Chhotu) But food rates are little Higher. Kunzam is for 2300 plus Roger Regency is 1000 + - according to season Over all good experience Allah Ka shukar

We stayed in this hotel the 21rst and 22nd of September. We did not have a reservation so as we got out of the bus in Manali and decided to enter the first hotel we saw. It is just infront of the bus station and we only paid 800 rupees per night. The room was very big and when we saw the bed the sheets had some stains but asked the staff and said it was clean...we asked for another and it was the same... We had hot watter, cable tv and wiffi (but the days we were there it never worked). If you are looking for a place to spend just a night with a low cost it's enough.

The rooms are very cheap and big enough to be comfortable. Washrooms are clean and you get hot water, nothing more we could have asked when we got back from a trek. Basic amenities provided are very bad though- no shampoos or basic toiletries provided, and towels were smelling badly. If you are looking at just stop and go, then this would serve you very well; located right next to the bus stand and there are shops along the entire street.
