Starts with poor staff discipline

Met at reception by the lady who couldn’t get off an obviously personal phone call (Anna) to deal with our arrival. We realise this is not the Hilton but it does not excuse - Six staff standing around joking and on their phones in the dining room whilst there are still dirty tables and dishes. A phone call to our agent in Delhi was required to deal with a dead rat outside our room in the corridor before manager was interested. ( they did then move our room) Other guests’ half eaten food trays left in the corridor for over 15 hours despite the fact that we asked cleaning staff to remove them.- which might explain the rodent problem. Then at night there was this terrible noise upstairs like a jackhammer and we could not get the reception to answer or deal with it. I had to go down to the lobby!!!. The receptionist just kept hanging up. then finally probably caused by the first issue and (initial uninterested receptionist) they tried to charge us for again for accommodation that are already been paid for. Clearly management has to take hold and deal with ill discipline staff before anybody should consider residing here. We have photos.
