Stayed here for 4 days. While the location and overall setting are good, the experience fell short in several important areas. The biggest disappointment was the high tea. The tea served was cold and not enjoyable, and the snacks (mainly namak para and biscuits) seemed low quality, with a noticeable stale oil smell. For a property at this level, this was quite unacceptable and left a very poor impression. The “lake facing” rooms are also not exactly as expected. The view is only partial, which feels misleading and should be communicated more clearly. Rooms themselves feel dated, especially the bathrooms. The fittings are old-style and the wash basin is extremely small, which affects usability and comfort. There were also minor service issues — for example, our room key got deactivated during the stay and had to be reactivated at reception. Overall, while the property has potential due to its location, the quality of food, room condition, and attention to detail need significant improvement.
