The staff is very nice ,polite and helpful . Food is good . Heated blanket and room heater all made the place very cost and comfortable . Aashiq one of the staff working made our stay very comfort table ensuring we get what we want . Will suggest the place to others those who are looking for a reasonable stay yet warm hospitality .

****Note**** staff is very good but Hotel is worst.. not a good property to stay for families. It’s shady place and seems to be very very old property. It is surrounded by taxi stand and horses. It spoil overall experience. Existing reviews are over rated or might be false. It’s not a good property to stay with family. We cancelled our booking on same day and moved to other property, though the staff is very good and polite..

I booked online with all meals, it was very costly deal considering room and food. There are not much options available in Gulmarg as people prefer to visit and return to Srinagar. Location is convenient, 1.2 kms from Gondola entry and near main parking and market. Centralized heater was not working but they had small room heater with electric blankets. Room size is bit small for family. Gyser is there for hot water. Restaurant seems good and newly renovated on first floor. Buffet had one chicken masala, one paneer dish, salad, sweet kheer, roti, rice and dal. They offered welcome drink Kashmiri Kawa. We kept bags in hotel at 9 am and went to Gondoa ride and checked in at 2 pm. Nothing much to do after Gondola ride and 2nd phase was also closed due to bad weather. We simply watched TV, had good sleep and moved to Pahalgam. One suggestion that light is very dark and colourful inside room, literally we switched on mobile torch to see in bag, there must be bright light in room. Washroom was not much clean, my kids were not going in washroom and not willing to take bath also and it was the highest rate i paid out of 7 hotels in Srinagar, Sonmarg, Pahalgam, Gulmarg.

Save yourself the trauma of staying at this unhygienic place - any person having any standard of living can not survive in this hotel. The moment we entered , I requested the manager for a refund as the place was not liveable, but the person was rude enough to say that we can leave without a refund .The washrooms were so tiny and dirty , the door of the washroom could not be closed. We decided not to poop or take a bath as it was simply impossible to bear it. I was so upset that despite it being the first day of the trip, I was ok to leave for Delhi the same day. The staff is really wierd, they don't want to help or guide in any way- they say they don't know to simple question like how to reach the Gandola or how much is the general cost of a guide/ cab for gandola. Why would a person stay in a dirty place with useless staff ? So if you have any standard of living, kindly avoid this place
