Very poor!

We had visited Jaipur for a wedding and this accommodation was arranged for us by our hosts. Location wise it is good as it is located in close proximity to major attractions and shopping areas. Unfortunately, we started off with a very bad experience. The room that was allotted to us did not have any ventilation as the window was blocked by the cupboard. The room smelled due to this and was dusty. The mattress was uneven, the bathroom door did not even close forget about getting locked. There was no hot water available during Dec month and the staff instead told us that the water was hot enough for bathing. It was not! It took them at least 20 minutes to bring 1 towel whereas we were 3 adults. Only 2 devices can use the WIFI at a time and the speed was not great. There was no dustbin in the room and we had to request for one. The staff lacked the hospitality and were insensitive to our concerns. We almost decided to check out of this hotel and find our own accommodation. The service (if I can even call it that) was very poor. We missed our function due to their attitude. Finally, after the host spoke to the manager, our room was changed. This was more spacious and a much better room with proper ventilation, Again, there was no hot water. First day we managed with cold water. Second day, we were told that as guests were many, the water is getting cooled quickly. Their staff told the wrong knob for hot water and we kept waiting for it till another staff gave us correct information. So much water got wasted in the process. There were cockroaches in the room, After the drama on the first day, I did not expect much from the breakfast. It was placed outdoors and there was no facility to keep the food warm. Boiled eggs were cold. An upset guest was complaining to the waiter that the sambhar is cold. Among so many guests, a regular toaster was being used to toast breads (2 breads at a time). By the time, I got my toasts, the breakfast had become cold. Butter was very hard and not softened. I requested for pepper and I was told there is none. The taste was average. The reception was smelly too probably due to a toilet located near it. The stench was reaching up till the first floor. The WIFI password changes daily during check out time but my WIFI was disabled early in the morning itself. Seems like they are not experienced to manage so many guests at the same time. We couldn't wait to check out from this place. Overall verdict - Beautiful guest houses are available for a cheaper rate than this place. Very badly maintained property. Not recommended!
