The worst experince in my life in hotel booking.

I booked this hotel on December 31, 2018 to celebrate New year. I paid money using online banking. When I reached there,the hotel ( a dirty house) was locked and no one was there except one dog barking at me. I called him by phone and he just told me that there is no room for me. He was not even ready to come to me / talk to me and I waited outside in road.I compelled him to come to site to know what happened.There was no solid answer for him and he suddently went from there by saying that he is very busy. I asked some neighbours and auto drivers about him. What I understood from them is that he sold this rooms to some peoples from other countries at a high rate and just ignored me.(By keeping my booking on hold after receiving money)Never ever book this hotel.It is cheating hotel and you will loose money.I struggled a lot at that night in search of another hotel. Cheating fake hotel. The place is not safe.

The most unpleasant home stay! Zero star!

I was on 5 day visit to Kerala (from 20th till 26th Dec) with my family and friends (with family, small kids). It was a final day stay at Nichoos Inn (Home stay). We booked it 3 months in advance paid full amount. On the day of checking the owner changed the location and gave a pathetic dirty room with very old age grand father, staying at the home lonely. Instead of helping us, he needed our help to support. House was terribly dirty, no carten at any window, bath room was the ugliest you can imagine. It did not have a wash basin. The bucket and mug you may never like to touch. Friends, plz don't go with the lowest price it offers as it will give unpleasant stay with lot of argument with the old age grand father. the room is basic, but has everything needed including private bathroom and a fan. the location is great, and within 3 minutes you get resturants and also the kathakali centre which is highly recommended. the hosts are helpful and always available.

Unclean and basic

I have become accustomed to basic and unclean after years of bsckpacking in India. I am not used to paying this much for it though. The room was basic and dark (all the better to hide the dirt).It consisted of a bed. And a light bulb. I had made the error of booking in advance and was unable to move after the first night. The water supply was erratic ( not a problem at the guest house I later moved to) and the sink contained some interesting stains and sticky matter. The wifi was good. It was the low season, so no food was available, and I did not meet the owners. I agree that the newer accommodation did look considerably more inviting than the original building. The young man (I presume the son) overcharged me upon leaving and refused to give me a receipt. I wouldn't recommend this guesthouse - there are much better, cleaner places to stay in Kochi, more centrally located and with better facilities. And cheaper if you negotiate!

During our trip to Kochi, Ernakulam last week, got to stay at Nichoos Home stay along with parents. Already booked the room via Trivago.com. It costs Rs.1000 for Non A/C & Rs.1750 for A/C with combo breakfast included. We have got down at Ernakulam station around 10.45pm, took an auto from there and reached Nichoos home. Cleanliness of the room was really appreciable. Breakfast offered was really nice. The house owner Paul also arranged Cab to look around places at Ernakulam for reasonable price. Overall, a memorable stay at Kochi.
