Overrated. I like the location of the hotel. But poor cleanliness. Poor service. Room 301 was very small. Water leak from refrigerator. No mat outside the bathroom. Even after informing the reception, they didn't bother to provide one. Mosquitoes. Also smell of cigarettes when we opened the door. Food was good. Restaurant was near and felt royal.

Centrally located right in the heart of Kollam Town, with in less than 1 km from Kollam railway station and opposite to Corporation Clock Tower, hotel Nani has steadfastly stood the test of time, retaining the newness of a new hotel. I had stayed here in 2015. After a decade, it still merits the rating of a good hotel in Kollam. Rooms are serviced and all necessary toiletries are replenished daily. Tea kettle and accessories are provided. Room service is excellent. Complaints and requests are attended promptly. The staffs are courteous and helpful. The restaurant is spacious and service is good. However, restaurant menu is very limited. Break fast buffett spread has only few options. Besides, restaurant functions only up to 3 PM. Dinner is served only in rooms. Apart from that I still feel that Hotel Nani is a good choice for staying with family while in Kollam.

For those who are on the roll, a best place to have a night stay or 2. At the heart of the city with even a movie theatre attached. It has a gym, a small club room, a library ( all for nane sake - however) Being in the heart of city has its call on room size and parking Breakfast is great, tasty and healthy ( all steamed)

We were a group of runners from Trivandrum participating in the Kollam half marathon. We arrived at 6 pm and stayed overnight. The dinner at the restaurant was very well made and tasty -the dal tadka and Aloo Gobi had authentic flavours. The chicken roast was perfectly cooked without too much spice. Since we had to leave the hotel by 4:30 am for a 5 am start of our run, the hotel manager offered to arrange light breakfast at 4 am. It was a great gesture and they made veg sandwich, boiled banana, boiled eggs, toast , jam, butter, watermelon juice and tea. Our runners enjoyed the same . The rooms were very clean and well appointed . The AC was good . All in all a very satisfying experience for an overnight stay. The hotel also had a factory outlet of VLC cashew - one of the best known cashew factories in the state. I would recommend the Nani for anyone visiting Kollam

We were here for lunch. The restaurant lures you with healthy & delicious cuisine, accompanied by warm & prompt service. Located in the centre of the city & extremely popular with locals. The property has a nice “heritage” feel and the rooms / public areas are well-maintained.
