We are currently staying in a villa The positives:- Location is great , the views are amazing The 2 pools are great with a great views The staff are really friendly and helpful Breakfast is amazing with a great choice Good having a free shuttle service into Kamala Rooms are cleaned daily with fresh water being replaced every day The negative :- Food in the restaurant wasn’t great , I ordered a yellow curry and asked it to be spicy however very bland .it did not compare the the yellow curry we had for breakfast which was amazing . We did complain however no response from the management . We are here for 3 more days so they may respond late Drink are expensive for what they are . Our cocktail last night was average and not much alcohol for 320 baht . We have had some great cocktails on Kamal beach for 100 baht which was far better than the hotel . Need to up their game here Smoothies at the pool bar very poor . No fruit used in our banana and mango smoothie . Not worth the money Overall we would come again but not eat in restaurant or buy drinks . Don’t like paying more money for lesser quality than you can buy outside of the hotel

Steep hill..

The views are amazing from this hotel but you must first climb up a very steep slope from reception to the accomodation and likewise from reception back towards the hotel entrance. Not recommended for people with mobility issues. Beach is walkable but again up a very steep hill. Buggies are offered to take you up the hill occasionally.

We stayed here for five nights before moving on to another hotel in Coconut Island having looked at the previous reviews I was kind of worried but actually we were pleasantly surprised. There is a new manager at the hotel and he is definitely turning things around. At first we found the dinner service slow but the new manager is working on this he was quick to fix this for us and then everything was smooth. The quality of the food in our experience of phuket hotels was very good lots of the right ingredients used flowers and strawberries to decorate dessert, breakfast had a very good selection compared to other hotels 5 star we’ve stayed at in phuket. Good choice of food and fruit. The view from the hotel is very good and pool areas also very nice. We found the stay relaxing. There are issues that you need to be aware of but as long as you’re prepared for these then you’ll have an enjoyable stay. The hotel is next to a number of 5 star hotels in Kamala but these are all based about five minutes away from the main beach and shops, there is a shuttle service from the hotel but of course it’s limited to the number of people they can fit and only between certain times - we found this too busy and where unable to get on. We overcame this by hiring a moped for £6 a day allowed us to go back-and-forth as much as we wanted. Alternatively, you can get a taxi for about £9 return per day. The room we stayed in had a large balcony with an outdoor bed and fantastic view, but it was up a number of flight of stairs, for us, this was perfect because I enjoy the exercise otherwise I feel like I haven’t done enough in a day but if you have mobility issues then ask reception on arrival for a more accessible room. All in all we enjoyed our stay. Thank you to Phouwanart who provided exceptional service throughout our stay this is what can make a difference between a good and great stay. So poor restaurant waitresses service

The actual hotel was excellent, however the last night of our13 nights stay we have decided to go to the restaurant for a diner. We have waited for 10min for someone to come and give us the menu. As I was very hungry I have gone my self for it. After waiting for another 30min no one has noticed us , so we have waived for someone to get our order. It wasn’t busy at all, there were only 4 tables . The people sitting next to us, has started glancing at us, we have mentioned that this is actually looks like a morning buffet and none is noticed us at all. After leaving for a quick 5 min when we came the people was gone.In the mean time after realising that there is some rain water left on the actual floor some of the staff came and actually started cleaning the floor with the white big towel. In front of all the customers . After realising that the people are looking she has left. So , food is actually good, prices are very high, cocktail 350bath, the morning buffet 750bath each. Another thing if we are talking about the actual 5 star restaurant the cutlery was left on the table without been placed at least on the napkin. The front staff which takes care of the luggage and the actual reception they are excellent. However the waitresses are not at all. Overall, very overpriced, avoid eating in the restaurant.

Starting with the most important fact: Both my husband and I got vomiting and diarrhea after Chinese New Year's dinner. The hotel manager brushed us off by repeatedly stating that no one else reported the issue. The only thing he offered "to fix it" was a free dinner at the same restaurant. Who would want to eat there again, right? Moreover, this spoiled our 2-day Island hopping boat tour and we still felt sick on the flights back home. As far as the hote itsel, while it has a great design, beautiful views and pleasant service personal (not management) there are a lot of draw backs that should not be ignored. First, there is no beach at the hotel and not in a walking distance. The nearby shore is all covered in dead corals and unusable. There is shuttle that goes to Kamala Beach, but the beach is crowded. Beware of drunk people and cannabis smell. All other beaches are 45 min away. Next, there is nothing to do at the hotel besides swimming pools which are good, but only open until 7:30 pm. There is no Spa. The billiards are missing pieces and the billiards room's air conditioning was not working. The cocktails at the bar were all cheap synthetic flavors and the appetizers (small pizza and spring rolls) were junk. However, I should give a credit for breakfast. It was surprisingly good! Also, some comments about the room. The bathroom floors are uneven which makes the toilet tilted to one side and the lid sliding to one side when sitting on it The faucet is installed crooked and too close to the backwall which gives no room for hands. We had a villa with a tiled in-floor bathtub. Looks pretty, but it's useless! The only faucet was a waterfall style one which was not working right. The water was coming very slowly and when it finally covered the bottom of the tub, there were flakes of dirt floating. You can't wash it off yourself because there is no hand-held hower and the drainage is slow. Overall, the hotel advertisements paint a misleadingly pretty picture, but in reality, this hotel is very rough around the edges and you will not be treated respectfully by management. I would not recommend it to anyone!
