It's fairly good value for money. The room is compact with a rather utilitarian look to it. There weren't any nightgowns or bathrobes provided as in most hotels I have stayed at so don't forget to bring your own. There was hot water in the shower! The main problem with this hotel is how difficult it is to find. Our taxi driver took a long time before he was able to get us there. The directions the receptionist gave over the phone didn't seem to be very helpful. There is nowhere decent to eat nearby unless you like greasy pork dishes. Best to order from the room service menu.

The location of this hotel is somewhere in Soi Ratchadaphisek 36 which is nowhere near any BTS or MRT. To get to this hotel from Lat Phrao MRT, one would require around 20 to 30 mins drive based on average traffic. It is situated among the local residences community and a narrow Soi. If it rains, as in my case, it gets flooded along the Soi. To compensate for the location and the trouble of getting into and out of the hotel, you get a cozy room at a competitive rate of less than 700 THB per night. Within the hotel vicinity, you will get mostly local favors from street food vendors, dimly lit stallholders from a row of shophouses, one western food restaurant direct facing the hotel which I have yet to try, massage shop, salon outlet, family mart, 7-11 stores and many more. Car parking is available but is limited and if there isn't enough space, the security personnel will direct the driver to park somewhere nearby. The checking-in counter is confined to a small lobby but effective without wasting any time. When the lift door opened on the 5th level, an immaculate corridor greeted you while the room gives a homely gesture upon ingress (see pictures). The Bed is soft and comfortable, water pressure is excellent with constant hot water, tea, coffee & kettle are provided along with 2 bottles of water and a nice 2-seater sofa with reading lights. The setting seems delightful for relaxation after a tiring day. Although the hotel is probably around 3 to 4 years old. The facilities in the room worked fine except for pest control. I found and kill 3 baby cockroaches crawling on the wall and the floor within a span of 2 hours. For a one-night stay, I can bear with it without much alarm. Hope the management can do something about it. Should I decided not to return for another visit, it is not because of the baby bugs but more of the hassle of getting into and out from the hotel as not all taxi drivers know the exact location while facing the seems like a never-ending traffic jam in this area.

Warm welcome at reception, and its typical service apartment service at front liner. Little bit difficult to understand very basic english. The room was clean and very nice set up, guest supplies, clean towels and linen, 24 hrs free wifi, TV channel need english channel at least 3 channel. They provide bicycle service free of charge. Location little bit far from the city but still can access with mrt its 7 mnt by grabcar to go to mrt station. Over all stay was nice experience.

Distance to Mo Chit BTS / bus station is not within walking distance. It is easy to get taxi here but it cost about 100-150 baht each trip to BTS. Opposite the hotel is a local BBQ restaurant with live band. They may play music and sing till about 11.30pm. Free music for rooms facing there. Room is nice, bathroom is ok, front desk staffs are polite and friendly even though they speak little english. This hotel can be better if they can provide hair dryer in each room, unlimited drinking water and free/special rate for shuttle to nearest BTS. There are some food stalls selling local food and convenient stores within walking distance. Do not expect hawkers there can speak english. I may not stay there for second time if i go Bangkok. Overall, i think My Loft Residence is an okay choice if you seek to experience different local life in Bangkok with the rate they are offering.

Away from the heart of city, if you are after a serene place yet budget-friendly and of good interiors and spacious, then this would fit you. The interior of room is modern yet cozy, which i love. It has complete house features, namely: mini living area and kitchen. But if you are looking for good common areas like gym and pool, better look for other place. We get the value of what we paid for. Thumbs up!
