Reviews are too good to be true. This place is definitely overrated and too expensive compared to nearby restaurants. Service is very pathetic and staffs are very money minded. Definitely not value for money.

We didn't stayed here but we used to come for lunch and dinner . Superb food and my children loved it and excellent service - Never expected such service but wow it is . Surmai and King fisg in recheado masala loved it most . Kudos to the chef

Budget Friendly, Homely Accommodation. We stayed here for a day and the vibe here was homely. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The beach was at a walkable distance. The restaurant had an authentic Goan feel to it and offered a variety of cusines. The room was clean and the service was quick. Will be more than happy to visit again.

I have stayed at My Friend's Place for second time, and I were just as pleased the second time. The couple running the place are very friendly, and so are their staff. The room is clean and the bed very comfortable. The restaurant serve very tasty food, and I can strongly recommend seafood and vegetables prepared on the grill. This is especially an excellent choice for people traveling alone as the outdoor area invite to a chat with your neighbour. I will for sure come again, and I can strongly recommend My Friend's Place for both accomodation and dinner.

Can’t believe this restaurant has the reviews it has as because haven’t experienced such surly service in years.If your not interested in the overly expensive seafood your treated like a piece of dirt. Plates or glasses slammed down with no eye contact or verbal interaction. Not leaving a tip after such poor mannered behaviour will only make it worse . Never again!
