The drinking glasses had rat droppings in them. Enough said! The hotels been there for long enough to make enough money to upgrade on cleanliness and staff training but sadly, it seems that none of the profits have been put back into the hotel. The ceilings are leaking, and the lobby’s and rooms stink. This is NOT a 4 star hotel. Locals like the place just because the food is good. They don’t realize how dirty your dishes are. They are trusting it’s clean just because you claim 4 star status. The only thing positive I can say about this place is that their food was good, the building layout is interesting, and staff is trying their best with what they’ve been given (the level of facility and training).

MK Hotel is a very strategically located Hotel in Amritsar. Connectivity from all four directions is very good. Adjoining Market is a Foodie's Den and you can enjoy multiple Amritsari Delicacies in the evening. Rooms are good. Can be better in terms of Infrastructure Finishing & Facilities. Food is Excellent. Enjoyed the Food. Morning Buffet is Excellent ! Staff is respectful & helpful

Great hospitality and excellent food. Spacious and clean rooms. Our 3 day stay was memorable in Amritsar. Good location and very convenient from hotel to visit local stuff. We will definitely visit Amritsar again and stay here.

Hotel is located in Ranjith Avenue & discernable from the main road. Parking inside the hotel compound is barely adequate. The hotel is very spacious with huge dining halls & three separate banquet halls for parties. The food was very tasty and worth the price paid for. The staff were very courteous & well trained. Overall a wonderful experience.

Hotel is easy to be tracked for outsiders, thanks to its strategic location in ranjit nagar and next door to Holiday Inn. However, reasonably pathetic is staff attitude and comparingly over priced room tarriff and meals. Right from reception to room service, either everything is delayed and a chaos or no service and blame games only. And the worst situation happens when you fall trap to no service of car clean despite assurances since 2 days. Finally when someone somehow does it at the time of departure, whole hotel is most eager to grab the tip to such misery that they even knock on car gates and are vocal enough to demand it as their willful right. Enter their restaurant to have buffet breakfast and then the attending manager starts staring at you during meals, as if trying to imply as if whatever we have already eaten was worth of what we paid for buffet and now they are doing charity on us.
