Comfort , luxury, style, heritage look but modern amenities , relaxed atmosphere, being pampered and cared for ---- Mayfair Darjeeling is all these rolled into one , and more..... ! Built on the hill slopes of Darjeeling in several steps next door to Raj Bhawan and painted in bright colours , this is resort is undoubtedly the best that Darjeeling has to offer in our opinion . Right from the time you report for check in, you are made to feel special and then looked after with personal care throughout your stay. The rooms are extremely comfortable with all the modern amenities with the linen getting replenished every day . The washroom too was impeccably clean with all the necessary kits . The service in the rooms was prompt --- on one occasion , we had a small problem with the TV and it was attended within a couple of minutes although it was quite late in the night. Another good thing is that during late afternoon , the room service people actually come and ask if anything needs to be replenished or not --- be it drinking water, tea bags or biscuits/cookies ---- if required, they replenish it immediately. This was a striking feature of this place which I have not witnessed in any other premium property in Darjeeling. Now for the food --- though a little hesitant in the beginning, we went for the Modified American Plan with breakfast and dinner included in the tariff and that was the best decision that we took . The breakfast spread was huge and it was really difficult to taste even one third of what was on offer . The dinner spread was excellent too --- each dish being really delicious !! During the dinner, even the chefs came to the guests to have a word, take feedback and share their experiences . Mayfair also serves a complimentary afternoon high tea which brings all the residents together in one place having tea/coffee and snacks and chatting with each other -- that in itself brought about a beautiful sense of camaraderie and community feeling ! The waiters in the dining hall , the housekeeping staff and the security --- all are polite and well behaved with each one greeting the guests whenever they pass by. Although the resort does not have a direct Kanchanjungha view from the rooms, it does have some fantastic valley views. In any case , the nearest and the best Kanchanjungha viewpoint is just a minutes stroll away from the entrance gate of Mayfair. Last but not the least , the resort is managed by the soft spoken but the super efficient GM Sabyasachi Mohanty who goes about his work silently but effectively --- one can find him at the hotel even at 10 o'clock in the night ...still working and ensuring that everythingis fine !! To be honest , it is really difficult to find faults with this property and this was perhaps one of the best stays in a hotel in India in my entire life.

Excellent customer service by mayfair Darjeeling, one of the best hotel in Darjeeling, The service was excellent, food was very nice, all staff are very helpful, they Full file all castomar needs as per requirement, Floor manager Mr. Ranajit was always ready to provide his kind service with helpfulness. I had a wonderful stay at Mayfair Darjeeling! The staff were exceptionally warm and helpful, especially during hi-tea and breakfast, going out of their way to assist with everything. I truly appreciate their efforts in arranging Jain meals for me—it made my stay so comfortable and enjoyable. Everything from the hospitality to the ambience exceeded my expectations. A big thank you to Suman Chowdhury & the entire team for making my experience so memorable!
