Last week I planned to attend a two day conference at Bangalore organized by Institute of Directors, India along with my spouse Jayanthi Sundar. On Thursday early morning I checked at Hotel Magaji Orchid at Seshadhri Nagar. The conference was about to start at 9.30 am, but the registration and networking begins at 8.30 am. I normally go to any event before time to do the networking with people as well to know what's happening around. At around 8 am, after my bath, while dressing up with my blazer etc, I realized that I forgot to carry my socks. How can I step out without a socks? Unfortunately the hotel too didn't have any pair of socks. Most of the shops open only at 9.30-10 am. Didn't know what to do. My wife made a request to the banquet manager Mr.Varma. This gentleman asked us not to worry and assured that he can help. Within 15 minutes, he was able to mobilize two pairs of socks. Actually he took an auto and went to nearby shop and got them. But I was puzzled how come a shop is open at 8.15 am, that too in Bangalore. Finally I realized that Mr.Varma went to a super market and asked the person concerned to open the godown at the back yard and got two pair of socks. All in just 15 min. I was taken aback with his gesture. Mr.Varma was not only showing empathy and courteousness with us, he was showing the same with all the customers. He was engaging the tiny tots, when a big family was taking their buffet breakfast. I adore the customer centric attitude of Mr.Varma. By the way I also heard that Mr.Varma was with HAL as a RADAR engineer and with the TN police and got medals from the popular CMs of Tamilnadu. #customercentricity #empathy #businessstorytelling

Stayed there for a night. Hotel location and outer look is Good. It is just a value for money decent property in between 2 and 3 star ratings. It is Small but good. Location :- The hotel is conveniently located to all the places walking distance. It is located almost in the heart of city. Room :- rooms are not too spacious are average size. Rooms are neat and clean. Bed was comfortable. Washroom needs to be improved. Washroom design needs to be improved as the slope is towards the door which makes it bit difficult to use the washroom with ease. Lot of vehicle noise disturbs you all through day & night, which is annoying. Food :- Breakfast buffet is available. Have limited items with good food quality. Staff :- Staff in hotel & restaurant is good.

as i stay in bangalore every year but somewhat i gotta stay in this hotel the hotel was quite good but service was not good at alli didnt like the room and food was quite good but they should improve thier rooms

We stayed here from 12/11/18 to 14/11/18. The hotel is worth for what you pay. Close to Mantri Mall. And 2 to 3 KM's from Bengaluru city Rly stn. We stayed here with our families. Rooms were clean and tidy and immaculately maintained. Washrooms were also clean. Hot running water was available. Breakfast was included and very good.

It was difficult to locate the hotel as it's location on Google maps is incorrect. The hotel is good for a budget stay but rooms could be slightly improved. Staff is polite and helpful. Restaurant is surprisingly good too.
