Hidden Gem in Taipei's Bustling Heart!

Leofoo Residence was a delightful surprise during my recent trip to Taipei. While navigating a new city can be daunting, Leofoo's central location made exploring a breeze. I practically lived off convenience stores like 7-Eleven and Watson's, but there were also fantastic local eateries and cafes right on the doorstep. Nights were spent devouring delicious finds from Ximending & Raohe Night Market, just a short bus ride away. The apartment itself was a haven after busy days. It felt more like a spacious home than a hotel room, with a comfy bed, living room, smart auto-toilet and even a washer and dryer – lifesavers for packing light! Plus, the full kitchen was perfect for whipping up light meals or reheating leftovers. Little touches like the complimentary laundry detergent and in-room snacks during the evening hours made me feel right at home. The staff was incredibly attentive and helpful, even with the occasional language barrier (which always added to the charm for me). Overall, Leofoo Residence Taipei exceeded my expectations. If you're looking for a comfortable, convenient, and relaxing place to stay in the heart of the city, look no further!

Great location and most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff, especially Johny Chiu, the Front Office Manager. Lovely and great first impression of hotel. Our room itself was well equipped and comfortable. We're very pleased with our stay (4/4 ~8). Before we go back to the U.S. , we reserved 2 more nights (4/21~23) at this hotel. We hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

We booked 5 nights in this service apartment (16-21 Mar). The furnitures in the room are dated. We were initially put on a lower floor but after the second night I requested a room on a higher floor. The second room was slightly smaller buy better than the first. We enjoyed having a kitchenette nut it’s puzzling to hear they do not provide a knife but will provide a cutting board. I just any guest will have to consider buying your own knife if you plan to do some cooking. Although I should add that the kitchen wares are really not conducive for any cooking. 2 plates, 2 bowls and a cutting board is not a kitchen made. Although the staff at the front desk are polite and helpful. There is nothing of this place that will make me want to come back if we ever visit Taipei again. Just saying…

We are so glad that we chose to stay at Leefoo Residences in Taipei. We loved every minute of our stay. The staff was incredibly friendly and professional. The studio apartment was perfect for a couple, plenty of room, storage, all you need. The kitchenette is of course basic, it is not meant to be for full-fledged cooking, but the microwave and fridge worked great, kettle was provided and so was an Espresso machine (Nespresso Gusto system – really good coffee!). Each day we were given 2 new capsules, 4 x bottled water, and there was also a small pot and pan if you really want to cook. Everything was spotless clean. Great storage space everywhere, large bathroom with a good shower and large bath (we did not use), washing machine (we did not use but it looked great and new, and 1 washing liquid was provided) - we only stayed 4 nights but it seems suitable also for longer stays! The bed was excellent, not too soft not too hard just perfect for a good night sleep. 2 pillows each provided. Good curtains to black out the daylight. The TV was a bit dated but provided youtube and even Netflix (we did not get it to work but I am sure others can figure it out ;)), good couch … everything was just right. The walk to the Metro was ok, maybe 5 minutes. Downstairs is a good bakery, and next door you find a massage place. Many restaurants in the neighbourhood. Would 100% recommend and def stay again should we return to Taipei !

Inaccurate advertising which lured us into booking this hotel, if we had known about the actual size of hotel we would not have considered at all. Also, rooms have very little natural light and room condition and furniture are of poor condition
