If you are someone who enjoys places which have the charming architecture of the colonial era, this is just the place for you. Situated in a calm residential area, this place has a generous open space surrounding it. Which is very well suited for your family pets, if you choose to bring them along. Care has been taken to maintain the colonial architecture, while incorporating all modern amenities. Kishore , the ever smiling care taker lives in the out-house and ensures the comfort of the guests. The resident dogs are very gentle and friendly. Looking forward for a longer stay at this lovely place.

Lovely old home, in a large garden, that's been converted into a boutique hotel. Situated in a residential area so it's quiet - good sleeping quality. Large bedroom and adjoining 'sitting room' with ensuite. Wifi is available in the lounge & dining areas - the signal couldn't reach our room. Lovely lounge area by a restful courtyard. The property is managed externally so you're left to your own devices (not so good if you need travel info). There is a caretaker on site but his English is limited. Generous western & Indian breakfast. Extra coffee/tea costs IR40! Guests may use the kitchen so I was able to make my own tea/coffee. I was also able to keep beers in the fridge! Lots of seating on the verandahs to enjoy the evening cool. Within walking distance to the Palace, the Big Bazaar (supermarket cum department store) & Old House restaurant. No other restaurants close. Short walk to a main road where tuktuks are readily available. My husband & I were in room 1 & we had a few issues with the shower alcove. Be aware that hot water comes out of the cold tap in the shower alcove. The shower head needs replacing as it squirts water all over the shower space. And drainage is poor so it becomes a bit of a swamp after a while. Other than these issues, we had a comfortable stay here. Recommended.

Our first visit to Mysore. Not only did we find Mysore (Mysuru) to be a fascinating place to visit with a great atmosphere, lots of history but also so much of traditional India but we found Laika Heritage to be a welcoming, comfortable, friendly and special place to stay and rest. The resident staff look after you well, they serve and awesome breakfast and keep the place looking spotless. Thank you. Maybe one day we will come back to Mysore and if we do we will stay there once again

This is a beautiful heritage hotel, formerly a family bungalow that was a delight to stay in. It was old India, unfortunately that is getting harder and harder to find. From the moment I set foot in the gate it was heaven. Cute family dogs are a delight. The room immaculate and so comfortable. Breakfast in what would have been the family dining room. The location is a little out of the centre of Mysore, but having said that I walked to the palace in 20 minutes. Autos easily hailed at the corner. Everywhere I needed to go was 15 mins or less in an auto. I left here so relaxed. Mysore is a beautiful city but my wonderful stay here made it a highlight. It's also family friendly, saw a family of 4 here looking happy.
