My husband and I had a great stay of 2 nights at L'Appartement. We had stayed there several times about 10 to 15 years ago, but had opted to stay in Airbnbs the last few times that we visited Montreal. Since we go to Montreal every few years and have a set routine for our visits, we decided on L'Appartement for its convenient location in downtown Montreal and next to the McGill campus. I was a little concerned after reading some less than positive reviews about it on Trip Advisor, but I decided to give L'Appartement a chance. I am so glad that we didWe had a wonderful room, high up in the hotel and facing Mount Royal. It was very comfortable, with all that we could need, including a fully stocked galley kitchen. The room was very clean and the furniture was in good condition. We paid extra to park our compact car in the hotel's parking lot. That allowed us to drive around Montreal as much as we wanted to since they have a generous policy of your parking time starting at your check in time and going for 24 hours from check in. I must give a special shout out to staff members Gabrielle, with whom I had several conversations when booking the hotel and Felix, who was on duty during our stay and who put up with my imperfect French even though he speaks very good English. Breakfast is held in a very pleasant room and featured ample quantities and a variety of choices. I feel that for the location, comfort and amenities that L'Appartement offers, it provides great value. I will definitely be returning to stay there!

Great location, close to a metro station and within easy distance of several different neighborhoods. Excellent views of the city. My only constructive comment is that the decor in the hotel is generally dated, and the rooms do show some wear. But overall the value for the hotel is excellent, and this was a great place to rest after a day of sightseeing!

We spent 2 nights at this hotel right in the heart of Montreal in November, 2023. They were pet friendly, which was very important to us as we had brought our doggy, and they had parking at their location for an extra $20 per night. We booked the one-bedroom suite that had a kitchen and a living space complete with sofa, desk and a dining table with 4 chairs. The washroom was a nice size and the bed was big and comfortable. Right near McGill University and a Starbucks Cafe, It is a 30 minute walk to Old Montreal or the Bell Center - which is very convenient if you are going to see a hockey game like we did! The staff was really very nice and everything was very clean. I would definitely return here again the next time I am in Montreal. There were no problems whatsoever - it was very easy to check-in and check-out and we always felt very welcome, safe & secure!

We spent 2 nights here and in general I think it’s worth staying . The room was not modern but it’s clean. The kitchen have all the basics and it’s also clean. Location , price , room size were all great. And also breakfast is included so you are saving like $10/person/day to get coffee and toast. Staffs were all great , esp the staffs that work in breakfast room , they works so hard and make sure everywhere is clean and do refills as fast as possible . The only thing we struggle was the parking. We have a suv and box on the roof top . Paid for parking with the hotel, saying we can park over there but ending up we need to take off the box etc . Btw if you go during weekends , lots of cheaper parking around.

We really liked this place. From the first moment we felt that stuff really care and take a pride in their job. After really bad experience with Air Canada flight we came to hotel tired and unhappy. The stuff let us go to the room even before the check-in regular time. It was so nice of them. Location just perfect and close to everything. Rooms were spotlessly clean . Breakfast was included and really good with lots of options. Bottom line - the service was as good as service at luxury hotels for the fraction of the price. It feels like home away from home. After check-out we were able to put our luggage at the hotel storage room and spent some more time around Montreal. Thank you all the stuff members who help us enjoy our Montreal trip even more.
