I stayed at Kohinoor Samudra in June and had a truly delightful experience. The highlight of the resort is undoubtedly its breathtaking location — perched high up with a stunning panoramic view of the beach. The jungle pathway leading down to the beach adds a sense of adventure and charm to the whole experience. Watching the sunrise and sunset from this vantage point is nothing short of magical — truly out of this world. The resort is peaceful, well-maintained, and the staff is courteous and helpful throughout the stay. Overall, I’d rate it a solid 4 out of 5. It’s a great getaway for nature lovers and those looking for a serene, scenic break.

1. Frequent light cuts 2. Stinky bathroom near reception 3. Lack of maintenance in full property 4. Limited food menu with high rates and slow service . 5. Cycles on chargeable basis to ride inside property ( surprised ) 6. Who says no for simple pakodas when ordered after 7.30 pm but they simply said no we can’t give . 7. Milkshake glass in small water glass 8. Room bathroom water and flush tap leak 9. Served stale and almost burnt fish pomfret 10. Not at all satisfied for the cost we have paid for the two days stay .

Excellent location! Huge property. Very old school! Easily 90's vibe but well kept. We asked for sea view but all we got was a small view of the sea from far. Rest was hampered by trees. Although they have a viewing deck at the cliff which is a 2 minutes walk within the property. Its unlike anything I have seen before. Simply Heaven on Earth. Food was good overall. Property needs to be modernised. Rest everything was spot on!

Stayed there for second time in September 2024. Very pleasant experience. Room is of huge size, all rooms have same size. The resort is so so big and the service is also very good. All rooms have sea view. The resort provides very good view points which provide for a very memorable experience. The resort is so big that it will take a lot of time to roam around inside as well. Staffs were very polite and helpful. The food was okay to good. Breakfast buffet was nice. It may be easily the best option for stay in Ratnagiri and is closest to Bhatye Beach.

Very Nice Resort. Great Scenic location. Overlooking Sea. Trekking path to go down. Good Infrastructure. The hotel is in itself a full holiday combo...you can walk, swim and have Great Times. Sandesh the transporter link of hotel is great. Only, if some better maintenance could be done it would match a five star hotel. Lockers are not their in rooms... All rooms are Sea Facing
