Really terrible experience at Key's malabar gate Really disappointed as have stayed I stayed there 3 night and 4 days a the malabar gate. No toilet kit in the room during the check in we have to call and request for every thing the booking was for double sharing and amenities given were for 1 Service was inconsistent we need to keep calling. as discussed with basic room decoration i had arraged all the things (baloon, cake, ) and hand over to reception . during my stay personaly i went reception and remind the same. while im come back nothing was done . im really disappointed with this how they can give fake promise 😆😆😆 when going out we informed to reception for room cleaning while come back nothing was done again we have to call and request then only they sent person for room cleaning and we waited more than 30 minutes outside for room cleaning every day

The room was spacious and the staff courteous and ever helpful. The housekeeping is good and quick to respond for any need . There are few areas which needs improvement. There were mosquitos in the room. Don't know from where they enter. As the hotel is next to two jeweleries there is space problem for parking and the basement parking also needs an expert driver. In restaurant we faced issue of delay og almost an hour! Food is fresh and tasty. Beef fry especially. Fish was great! Breakfast had local favorites like dosa and egg roast, nendra banana steamed.

On a long drive back from Goa, when we couldn't get a room at any other hotels on the way since it was a weekend, we ended up here at 1 'O clock in the morning. We had called earlier and the check-in was smooth considering the odd hour. The staff was pleasant and we got a mini-suite. It was really spacious and well furnished, but everything was outdated. The sheets were very worn out with holes and stains. The towels were neat but clearly old. The breakfast was basic and tasted okay. Thankfully the room was not very musty or damp and we had a decent sleep.

Keys Malabar Gate location is very good at a very decent area of the city just 1.5km to the railway station. If you are a foodie then there is Rahmath restaurant at a walkable distance. The room in Keys was good but there is a slightly palpable lack of proper maintenance. There was no hot water in the hot water taps in the room. Room service was good for me. They did provide me some early breakfast as per my request. They also arranged me a car for the local travel which was good and at reasonable price. The hotel manager was also gracious enough to provide us a late checkout at zero extra charges. Overall i would say it was a quite decent experience at Keys Malabar Gate.

Stayed here a night and totally disappointed. The AC wasn't working, the showers and the pipe were clogged, the telephone line was snapped and to top it all a maintenance persons come and informs all this is known but will take time to correct. As I had settled down the offer to change the room was denied by me. Fail to understand if all these were known why in the first place it is let out. This was an executive room. Tariff with discounts was also high for the city. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.
