What a beautiful place to stay in Detroit! This Inn is a group of 4 gorgeous Victorian homes in a row. We had a warm welcome at reception, offered coffee, tea, cocoa or bottled water that is available 24/7. We were given buckets of ice for our room and walked to our room. We walked into a gorgeous foyer with a large living room with a grand piano, and record player. Our room had an extremely comfortable queen bed, spacious living room, and stunning furniture that was true to the era of the homes. Our morning breakfast was fresh fruit, yogurt, fresh bread/muffins and egg bites. There was cereal and milk as well. The hosts were courteous, and even called a local restaurant to make a dinner reservation for me when my phone was not working (we are Canadian) . We look forward to future trips to Detroit, and will look no further than the Inn on Ferry for a place to stay. Parking is on site, and the neighbourhood feels very safe.

The homes are very beautiful and have a very vintage feeling! The history of the homes makes it such a pleasant stay! The staff is incredibly nice and the rooms are cute! The beds are very soft and comfortable and the bathrooms are spacious, perfect for a night in or a night out!

Beautiful hotel in a great location close to wonderful restaurants and world class museums. The onsite parking is convenient and the hotel is walking distance to great restaurants and museums. Qline stop is just a block away and can be used to get downtown easily.

Was happy that the Inn reopened after a shutdown due to Covid. Charming old guesthouses houses with well-appointed rooms, generous breakfast, great location near DIA and Wayne State, and friendly, helpful staff. Only downside during my recent stay: bathroom sink water was warm at best (though curiously, water in the shower was fine).

What a wonderful house! I have always admired architecture of that sort so to be able to stay in and explore an old house like that was a dream come true. I had read that a couple of the rooms were haunted but I felt so welcomed and at peace in my room and slept incredibly well in a very comfortable bed. There was a beautiful front room/living room with reading chairs and books and a piano, all very clean and inviting. The staff were super friendly and offered to let me look around the different houses with them. The homemade bread and coffee in the morning were amazing! The place is a 2-minute walk from Woodward Avenue and the "K" line which is free transit going straight to downtown which takes about 10 minutes. There are great restaurants litterally 3 minutes away.
