DON'T BOOK ROOMS IN THIS HOTEL. I have had a very bad experience with Vijay paradise. I honestly regret booking a room here. First, they mess up room booking - gave me a different room, a downgrade instead of the one promised. I had already booked a month earlier and they messed it up. Then they promised to shift me to a better room in some time with a facility for extra cot. Then when I requested extra cot, they give me sponge instead of a mattress saying there's no availability for cot or mattress. On top of all this they already got full fees as advance more than room fare on arrival. No room, no cot, no mattress and no pillow. There are cockroaches in the room and bed. Why are these people running a hotel is beyond me . Just because the hotel is at a prime location doesn't mean they can be irresponsible and play with people's money and peace of mind. I strongly recommend not to book here. Please save money and mental peace by booking elsewhere. These people don't know how to run a hotel or treat customers

Excellent location, terrible hotel

A literal dump of a hotel, there are cockroaches busiliy walking around doing their thing with total impunity, even as the hotel staff watch. The cockroaches are everywhere, in the restaurant, the so called 'bar' and all the rooms. We stayed there for two nights, the first room they gave us (#221) was bearable, though the wall AC unit made a deep throbbing noise like a diesel tractor all thru the night. And next morning, the room had an electrical problem and we had move. The staff moved us to another room, which had a better AC unit, but it was so small, that if we opened our suitcase, we could not stand in the room. To pick our clothes out of the suitcase, only one person could be in the room! The other person has to stand outside or climb the bed. And this room was also full of cockroaches, literally crawling out of everywhere. The bed linen was filthy and we had to complain several times to get that replaced. Pathetic excuse of a hotel, though the staff are individually nice human beings, the management is just focused on making money - seriously wonder if they are paying their staff fair wages. The Showers Bar is a dimly lit, dump in the basement, entered from the garage and trash storage area. Smells dankly of stale cigarette smoke and serves questionable drinks! And the bar staff's way of dealing with the dank smelling environment is to spray air freshner - even into their glasses. Ughh! The location is the only reason why anyone would want to stay here. If you are reading even one positive review about this dump, be sure that the owner has written it themselves. This place needs to be shutdown, the cockroaches alone are reason enough!

Bang on the main road, this hotel will deliver what a budget traveller would need. Neat room, cot and friendly staffs. Coffee and tea we ordered were just ordinary. We didn’t take complimentary breakfast in our 3 days of stay as we had Annapoorna in a walkable distance. If you have plans to roam and want to settle down in a hotel just for sleep, this is good enough.

A decent hotel for family accommodation at a good location. About room: they provide 2,3,5 bed rooms with ac, wifi, hot water facilities. Room & bathroom is neat and cleanly maintained. Food: There is veg & non veg restaurant, with bar at 5th floor. For those who need exclusive veg option - immediate next lane (150m) Shree Annapoorna Hotel. Auto stand, bus stand are available just next to hotel. Hired cab service is also available upon request at reception. You can also book cab online. There s a balcony too.
