The worst hotel I have ever stayed in

I am well versed in 3* hotels and have also travelled in India previously. Whilst the bed was comfortable, sheets appeared clean and food served in the restaurant was good, I can truly say this is the worst, dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in. Further, on reporting some hair found in my bathroom basin, on arrival, that wasn’t mine I was informed by management that it was probably a crack. It wasn’t. In general, both bedroom and bathroom were filthy and management were rude and unhelpful.

We stayed in Varanasi for few nights. After one night we asked our guide to move hotel as we were not happy in Vaibhav. The bathrooms didn't feel clean, and water didn't drain away, there were no hot showers, the wifi only worked in the reception area, there were funny noises in the walls and ceilings which woke us up in the middle of the night… But once they realised we requested to move, the staff were doing their best to please us. We can't fault them from trying, so we stayed. We had hot showers but had to call reception to warn them to start the boiler for ensuring hot water,. The kitchen food was good, but it is a shame that they don't have a higher expectation. (the table clothes are dirty and not changed after meals, the staff wears dirty white shirts). This place has potential but it needs renovating (especially the bathrooms) and needs to set the standards a little bit higher.

We realized the room was dirty right after check in, therefore we requested cleaning service and left the hotel to explore amazing Varanasi. When we came back the room hadn't been touched. Reception literally laughed at us and sent a guy who wasn't sure he had to mop the floor. We literally had to ask him to go fetch a rag to clean the bath tub, which was embarrassing dirty. We got to a point where we asked to change the room, but the receptionist laughed at us once again, saying there were no rooms available. There's a bar in the basement: don't go unless you wanna be sorrounded by rats. Stay away from this place!!

We were looking for a quite hotel and was taken here by a cab driver. Since it’s too late to book the better ones. So we decided to give it a try. It turned out to be a nightmare!It was filthy and noisy! The supply was almost none. The restaurant downstairs made squeaking noise that make sleeping impossible. (Food was lousy too). It’s the worst motel you can imagine. We stayed one night and had to move to other hotel.
