We have just returned from a 4 night stay and we were really impressed with the hotel. The decor of the hotel from the lobby to the room itself is all beautiful. Everywhere was so clean, absolutely spotless. We had drinks in the attached bar/restaurant area one night and the gentleman who served us was lovely. Breakfast was included in our stay and there was plenty to choose from including cereals, pastries, cakes, bacon etc. A great selection. The hotel is situated just a 5 minute walk from Garabaldi station which is a large station with regular links to the ‘main’ destinations on the metro - we found nowhere took too long to get to. You can also get the train from here to Malpensa Airport which is a 45 minute journey (and only around €8!) On our day of check out, we asked about leaving our bags at the hotel for a few hours till we had to leave for our flight. We were told we could do this or we could keep on our room for an extra couple of hours (usual check out is 12PM), free of charge. Super lovely and hugely appreciated by us! After reading some reviews I did email in advance to request a quiet room if possible and I have to say it was super quiet - even with the window open, it was really peaceful. We look forward to returning and would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a lovely place to stay in Milano!

Unfortunately our stay at this hotel was spoilt by numerous factors, which I have listed below. When we returned home we emailed the hotel to report the issues. Although their response was polite, it was factually incorrect and the compensation offered was a return stay. I think once you read the below you will understand why a return stay for my family is totally out of the question. We pushed back on this and the hotel then ceased all communication, which is extremely unprofessional. If you want peace, quiet and relaxation then choose somewhere else, because the bar downstairs and the club adjacent will certainly prevent this from happening. We visited the hotel for a special birthday celebration and stayed for 3 nights in November spanning Thursday to Sunday. I specifically requested non-allergenic bedding because of an allergy to feathers at the time of booking. When we arrived we checked that the pillows were non-allergenic, and they were fine, however we then spent the day sight-seeing and did not return back until late that evening. We then discovered that the duvet was feather and called reception. The person who took the call said: “I do not have a solution for you this evening” which is really not the response I would have expected because I specifically asked for this prior to booking. Around 30 minutes later and numerous phone calls later, sheets were provided as the solution. I really did not expect to be sleeping with sheets as opposed to a duvet but had to accept the solution based on it being late. We received a hand-written apology note from the Manager the next morning, which was a nice gesture, however the Manager also explained in his email to us that he left us a compensation gift - this was not the case. On Friday evening, the noise from the bar downstairs was so loud that we could not sleep and this carried on until the early hours of the morning. On the 2 following nights (Friday and Saturday) the noise from the club adjacent to the hotel continued until past 5am in the morning and we took a video at 5:22am and shared this with the hotel to demonstrate the noise. The noise was unbearable despite both windows being closed and the curtains drawn. On Friday night my partner did not sleep at all, and on Saturday night fell asleep at 6am only to have to wake at 6:15am to catch an early flight home. Not being able to sleep 3 nights in a row is really not something that we expected to endure. The aircon in our room was also not working and the heat was unbearable, and so we had to keep opening the window to get some cool air into the room, however when we did, the noise was even worse. Whenever any guests returned to their room, the doors slam. There appears to be no soft close option to buffer the sound of the door closing - which was yet another factor that disturbed our peace. The breakfast although had many options was often running low and we had to ask people to top up basic things such as bread. The hot items to include scrambled eggs were lukewarm, which was off putting. From a hotel of this calibre I would really not expected to have to deal with such a plethora of issues and it really spoilt the surprise trip I we had organised, because each morning we woke up extremely exhausted from having to deal with the noise from the night and early hours of the morning. The whole point of the trip was to provide some rest and relaxation, but this was not achieved at all.

A very interesting hotel close to the metro and local restaurants. Large rooms, comfortable beds. Very noisy district at night. Many clubs and discos open until the morning. Lovely coffee. Reception staff speak English but other staff do not. My room was not clean - I was given a dirty one. It was difficult to communicate with the cleaning ladies.

Location is priviledged. Very near the hot spot for restaurants and bars to go out at night. The room is comfortable and the attention to guests is commendable. Staff is always ready to help and guide when necessary.
