It was a one night stop only. We had 10 rooms booked up at Taj Resorts and it served its purpose perfectly. We reached from Delhi via the brilliant Yamuna Highway at around 9pm just about to make it to their last order for dinner. Far away a silhouette of the Taj Mahal formed. A minaret was seen in pure surreal darkness and then hunger struck. Hahah. The meal was delicious. The chef I hear has come in from ITC Peshawar. It was beyond yumm. They made me a special chicken kheema paratha. Their dal makani was to die for! The team chose Taj Resorts as it was only 300/500 ft away from our picnic destination and the architectural marvel, Taj Mahal the next morning. We had an event with kids from an orphanage and had booked Taj Khema which is overlooking the majestic marvellous Taj Mahal. What a view! Oh, and though I had no time it’s apparently seen clearly in the day also from the tank level of our hotel! Either way, it served its purpose and off the crew went into Jaipur at 6pm! So we spent 21 hours in Agra! The traditional musician at the entrance and his massive smile are unforgettable! Thank you Taj Resorts for the promptness in getting all of us rooms and for holding our personal bags until we leave the city too!

Everything was wondeful for me at the Taj Resorts Agra. Mr. Gogi and Mr OP Yadar, the managers both went over and above the call of duty to help me on several occasions. You automatically feel safe as the the hotel is gated, with security guards 24/7, the rooms are very comfortable, and the rooftop pool is an absolute delight. Certainly my choice if I return to Agra - highly recommended.

Had an amazing stay at this hotel for two days. The rooms are nice and clean. Staffs were very helpful .Very nearby to taj mahal at just a 5 min walkable distance. The food was so good and the view from roof top restaurant is amazing, you can have food with the view of taj mahal too. Overall it was a wonderful stay

An absolute nightmare for western tourists- front desk rep in black suit with glasses SCAMS tourists. This person charges EVERYONE's credit card in their home currency (euro, dollar, pounds etc) without asking you. I got charged 2 bills (food/drinks and souvenir) - both in euros. When asked why he did this without asking me, he said there was no option to choose the currency in the machine, and this has to do with my bank. An absolute lie. So I brought a friend staying at the same hotel who hadn't paid the bill to pay it in front of my eyes. There was indeed an option to choose. I made enough fuss to get them to reverse the charges and charged again- there was again indeed an option to choose. So then they came up with a different lie that if they don't press anything, it defaults to euros. Lies create lies. Their CEO reached out via email in the end apologizing for this unethical, illegal scamming of tourists. However, who knows if there are any consequences or corrective actions. I believe they are all in this together and covering each other. The extra 5% put on credit cards by choosing NON local-currency is pocketed by hotels. So imagine, every day, they make an extra 5% on top of their revenue which has to account for a significant portion of their profit. A complete scam, lie, deceit and a bunch of liars from the top management down to every single employee working in the hotel. Now for the hotel- 1. There was unflushed poop in the pool bathroom. 2. No one speaks proper english and they upsell everything from drinks to deserts in restaurants and pretend as if they dont understand you. 3. outside taxi/transportation NOT allowed to pick up guests- why? so that if you didn't book with them, they get a chance to properly SCREW you. 4. They call basement floor "1st floor" - so if your room key starts with 1- you are unlucky guest stuck in the basement. 5. breakfast is good enough to feed rats. 6. Do not go near the downstairs souvenir shop- non of that stuff is made there. They just try to sell you and scam you with the extra 5%. If you are still stupid to book this hotel, brace yourself and get ready for an extra bonus - random power outages in the night.
