We stayed at the SVM GRAND for three nights and this is possibly the worst hotel i stayed in in India, there are better shacks on the beaches in Goa. When we arrived and were shown our rooom 1) the shower control mechanism was on the floor and i had to take it back to receprion before they would come and repair it. They did repair it but it came off two more times. 2) the A/C didnt work and despite three attempts to repair it, it never fun tioned 3) there was no toilet paper and it was suggested we use tissues. 4) the smell from the drains was constant and extremely unpleasant. 5) breakfast was abysmal. 6) the furniture in reception is used by the staff to sleep on overnight. 7) the room was never cleaned for the entirety of our stay 8) rhe bedding was never changed 9) the towels were never changed and we had to go find our own. 10) the windows were so dirty we could hardly see out of them. 11) despite advertising a restaurant and seeing utube videos of beer being drunk, there was no alcohol available There is more but i want end my association with this pits of a place, if you Are considering staying here take my advise DONT

This is a very decent hotel with good ambience and tasty food The staff over here are friendly and provide good service The rates of the items are also pretty low and budjet friendly can be suggest d for small party's and gettogethers

I visited restaurant of this Hotel for the purpose of having dosa or idlis because I was in badly need of some light food and I didn’t find any restaurant in this area of Bank Street. I visited this area to attend a marriage ceremony in the day time on 09/03/2019. The marriage function was in Hotel Tourist Palace Near to this Hotel. Since there is no restaurant facility in Hotel Tourist Palace, I came here. But here also I was disappointed to know that they don’t serve dosa, idlis or any other South Indian food items in day time. They serve these items in morning only. I then had only a cup of tea. Without sugar tea was good in taste, so as the property is. Yes, Restaurant is spacious. AC cooling was perfect. Service was good. And moreover, the price of one cup of tea was ₹25. Very reasonable.

Really had a bad experience during the 1 day visit as i booked the hotel from cleartrip really worst the rooms are good and cleanliness are worst and the room service take a very long time.No proper receptionist for proper communication and response and worst experience along with family.

Ambiance:3/5 Decor:2.5/5 Service:2.5/5 Price:average per person 400 -500 Rs/- Food was below average.... fennel (Saunf)powder was added in Schezwan chicken fried rice not at all spicy changed it again got a below average dish served , when we ordered ice cream there was no suggestion about the portion and it turned so heavy that it got wasted..... And the fun part is accompaniments for Schezwan chicken fried rice is mirchi ka salaan and raitha 😂😂😂😅😅😅😅😅😅 And it still has good biryanis served
