I have booked room directly visiting hotel. It was reasonable. You can negotiate rate at counter also. Room was spacious, cleaned and furnished. Mostly all facilities available here that we rarely find in other budget hotel.

When we were traveling from Chopta to Joshimath, we decided to stay at Pipalkoti as the time was 8 PM. Checked in to this Hotel. You can’t say it as Hotel. The upkeep is so bad and it was dirty. As the Hotel was cheap the maintenance was poor. We tried to have dinner but the plates were so bad when we try to clean with tissue paper the tissue became black Avoid this Hotel if possible

Hotel sudarshan palace is located near pipalkota. Its a budget hotel not luxury one. But it’s have all basic facilities available in the hotel. Rooms are of standard size, normal room with bed and chair.

Best Hotel for bargaining with the Room Tariff

If you are travelling in a group or a mass, this I suggest, as the best Hotel, as one can bargain with room tariff, however later, the same would be made good, in the food bill, by the hotelier, as the tourists have to solely depend on this hotel, for food, as there are no Restaurants, adjacent to this Hotel. And even though food rates are on par with any three star restaurant rates, standard & quality of food is hopelessly bad. This Hotel is located on the left side, on the way to Rishikesh, from Badrinath (Joshimath), after around 2.5 KMs from Pipalkoti, but before a small village called Batula. And this Hotel even though situated amidst nature serene beauty, Rooms have been maintained very badly, with very poor housekeeping.
