This was the worst hotel in which we were stuck on a new year's eve. It was dirty, the food caused us diarea. In India is in general better to spend bit more for a hotel. Avoid this one if you are a western.

The charm of a hotel is the people who manage it and in Star Residency Madurai it was both where comfortable clean rooms was aligned with courteous professional staff. Amazing location. Affordable luxury at its best. Food was great too along with fair pricing. What one can ask for. Mr Aabideen an amazing asset to the brand really made my stay worthy.

Stayed in this hotel on 7/10/19 for 1 night with my family while returning from Kodaikanal. The hotel is in a nice location, rooms are well maintained, nice staff, good b/f not very far from the Meenakshi temple.

Bad.... Not clean, old, worn out furnitures

We were rather disappointed to have stayed in this hotel for 3 nights... The room was dusty, the floor was sticky. Looked like they just swiped it without moping. Many of equipment and furniture in the room were rather old and warn out. Room cleaning was bad as well. We were requesting them to clean the room since we checked in but they only cleaned it after 2nd night. We won't choose this hotel again as there are much better hotels to stay for a similar price around the same area.

Hotel stay is very neat. They are closing the breakfast in the restaurant sharp at 10 am even when their guest was in halfway dining and the rate of the items in their restaurant is costly. otherwise good and descent stay.
