Very Bad , Swimming Pool is Closed on 15 date and Pool is 3rd Party they tell us go out From pool after 1 Hour , water Bottel is chargeable Room is not Nice. Pool is used by Outsider fully People Stay in Hotel is not able to use pool Fully. Hotel Staff has no answer for many things. Old Rooms

I HAD NOT READ the reviews before booking this hotel, else i wouldn't have. it was past 8 at night when we checked in, the room had a bathtub, we didn't want it, so asked for another room, the room boys don't go until u tip them. down south where we have travelled most, its our wish to tip, here it seems compulsory in all restaurants . the bathrooms didn't a exhaust fan, on complaining a guy came and checked, but it never worked on the 5 days we were there. the bathroom floor is very slippery, beware, they have a raised stool and steel handle bars which is a saving grace, still stink was unbearable at night. very spacious rooms, but zero maintenance. we had complimentary breakfast and dinner. food quality needs a lot of improvement, the restaurant staff don't care attitude, only one person got us some non spicy dhal and boiled vegetables, sorry i forgot his name. as south indians we expected tasty punjabi food but NO. the only grace marks is for location which is near to sector 17 market, and rose garden.

Its government maintained property. Old one but spacious rooms . Amenities and room linen can be better. Food is excellent and amazing staff. Hotel is near to prime shopping areas of Chandigarh. We also conducted one day family function and arrangements done were excellent.

Terrible experience. We had booked 2 rooms at this hotel for 5 nights. Upon checking in we found the rooms were not cleaned. Bedsheets and pillows were torn, filthy with stains & hair. Toilet was clogged. Upon request house keeping provided another set of bed sheets but had to replace them again as the one that brought also were stained. The staffs reply was, “this much stain will be present on all the sheets”. Again, on request, they changed our rooms and same problems were persistent. When we used the restroom in the newly allotted room, the poop overflowed on the floor. Moreover, the next door guests were using marijuana or some strong smoking drugs due to which the entire floor started smelling horribly. When we approached the manager, his reply was, “We cannot restrict the guests” even though the outside display board on the hotel clearly displays ”Drug use in the property are prohibited”. Even an hotel employee reported feeling dizzy with the smoke. As we had young kids with us, we didn’t want them to be targeted of PASSIVE SMOKING. In short, in 2 days, after changing 3 rooms and missing few important events due to room maintenance & shifting, we exited the hotel. ROOMS: Antiquated, poorly maintained. Below par housekeeeping, dirty sheets, duvet covers, dirty cushions, dirty headrests. Clogged toilets, plumbing issues. Paint peeling off multiple places. SAFETY: Health Hazard!! Poor Housekeeping creates High potential of spreading viral, bacterial & fungal infections! NOTEWORTHY DETAILS: Antiquated Government hotel. Very poor housekeeping. Clogged sever/ Toilets. Very poorly maintained. In terms of rooms, I would rate it lower than a 1 star Motel

Very centrally located in Sector 17, Chandigarh the Hotel is a just a few minutes walk from the downtown of Chandigarh. The rooms are air-conditioned and large, as are the bathrooms. The decor is basic, but adequate. The WiFi needs improvement and the TV is smaller than what the room size dictates. the food in the restaurant is good. Tea/Coffee maker in the room along with 2 one litre packaged water helps a lot. The staff was helpful and housekeeping cleaned the rooms and changed the linen and towels daily. the bathroom had amenities including a full size bathtub and a shower. Lots of free parking. Very good value for money, given its location.
