The hotel is at a very good location with all eateries and shopping places near by. Also very near to the railway station and Udaipur bus stand. The Lake Pichola is also not far from this hotel. Staff is courteous and room service is very efficient. Overall nice and pleasant stay.

Our 1 night stat at Hotel Shalimar Palace was good in terms of the price we got and overall stay. Check-in was smoother. Prompt room service. Rooms & bathroom were clean. Deluxe rooms are enough spacious. Food quality is good. Only Veg food (with Egg option). Good amenities. Parking facility is 1 to 2 min walk away from the hotel. Hotel location is good in terms of nearby restaurants, bus stand and market. Offering mini bar in the room would add ice on the cacke. Always carry cash. Because the hotel doesn't encourage or advise to pay by card. They charge 5% charge as txn charge.

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights with 2 rooms for 2 families. The rooms are very good with good housekeeping and clean toilets. The resturant serves good food of very good taste. The location also nice near the bus stand area with all easily transport availability.

I have visited this hotel with my family on end of December 2018. I have booked a executive room, it was nice with maintained interior. Bathroom was excellent , room size was little bit small but it's OK. Only problem with the food, there menu items was not very long and not so much choice you have. Complementary breakfast also not so much good. Location wise hotel was excellent , it's very near to city palace and gulub bug.
