Actually we book the hotel next to Seven Inn but their room is full and they move us to Seven Inn. At the first time the manager and the staff are quite nice, they offer to help us with everything. They said they can help to exchange our USD to Rupee, after we agreed the rate, the manager asked me to gave him Rs50, he said its for the tips for his staff who went to change the money hahaha... The next day when the manager knows that we want to rent a car he pushed us to rent his car, but his rent rate is bad so we decided to rent from another car rental. After that all the staff and the manager never greeting us until we cheked out 2 days later. So they will nice to you if they think they can take an advantage from you...be aware with what they offer.

A huge applause to perfect location! Close to all tourists attractions with great views. Staff were incredibly accommodating and made us feel welcome and important despite it being extremely busy. Comfortable beds and pillows.

Please do not ever go to this hotel! We booked the hotel online after seeing good reviews. But it was a complete disaster. Vehicles can’t reach the hotel because they do not have a proper entrance. You have to get down from the cab and walk through slums to get to the hotel. We had to carry our own bags through the slums. It was very unhygienic and smelly. Don’t be fooled by the photos they have uploaded on their site. It looks nothing like that. The receptionist was very rude and not at all professional. Once we got to the room we found out that someone had used the toilet and not flushed. It was shocking. TV was not working, WiFi was not working. There was no hot water. No mini fridge. The rooms were very smelly. The restaurant was not in a working condition. When we asked about food, the manager was saying they could get it from outside. We didn’t have anything from the hotel because we were scared that they would get food from the slums and serve us. Please do not ever book this hotel. We usually stay in Hotel Sujatha or Darbar! But unfortunately this time we thought of staying somewhere closer to Maha Bodhi. We just couldn’t wait to get out of this hotel! It was the worst hotel we have ever been to. I can’t even give 1 star to this hotel.

Hotel Seven Inn may be a decent option relative to other options in Bodh Gaya. It's a bit hard to compare without experiencing other hotels. Importantly, the rooms are pretty clean with comfortable beds. There is hot water always and the general service of all the staff is very good. When one of us got sick the hotel even arranged for a doctor to come within 30 minutes. During our stay there were a few concerns others should consider when booking though: - A beautiful Vietnamese temple is next door and they begin to play their gongs around 4am which may wake you up every day. If you are a deep sleeper or if this is something you might even enjoy it wouldn't be an issue. - To enter and exit the hotel you have to walk through a very narrow 50 foot long small dirt pathway that leads between peoples corrugated metal & wooden homes. I felt a bit invasive and uncomfortable walking through an impoverished area into a hotel without any other route options. - The manager at Hotel Seven Inn gives off an impression of being very attentive and helpful to guests but it quickly became apparent that the intentions behind this service is to acquire more business. By the end of the trip we did not trust him and even found his demeanor to be almost abrasive. Upon check out he told us that his credit card machine was broken and that we needed to pay in cash. Only after telling him that we would be unable to pay then because we had no cash did the card machine magically begin to work. We asked if he could arrange a taxi to the airport and he told us that it would cost 1,200 rupees. A taxi to and from the airport should cost 700 max. As I told him, this was the first time in my month in India that someone had been dishonest about the cost of a service.

Close to all the attraction of Bodhgaya. Probably the best value for money in that location. Transfer from to hotel double that of local taxi. Got local taxi when leaving the hotel at half the price. Hotel owner/manager told me he uses the same taxis for his transfer service. Breakfast is edable but not that fantastic. Evening meal best avoided. But definitely worth 4 stars.
