The hotel is located in the market. One can easily explore the market and tourists places. The room is spacious, comfortable and has a beautiful lake view.

The hotel is in a lovely location. However the restaurant and breakfast lets them down. We went to the roof top restaurant for a drink. It took us over 15minutes to get our drinks. We ordered a beer and a diet coke (I saw some in the fridge at the entrance) for the waiter to bring me a full fat coke. I said I couldn't drink sugar and he puffed at me saying coke is coke! After a minute of arguing he went I got me a diet coke. He then got upset when I refused to tip him. Breakfast is in the same place on the roof. They have a wonderful view over the lake but we're not happy when we asked to eat outside to enjoy the view rather than seating in a smelly room. they will tell you it starts at 7.30 but nothing is ready until 7.50am. On our second day we had plan with our driver to leave at 8am so we ended up rushing our food down because nothing was ready causing me to be ill a short while later.

The best thing about Hotel Sarovar is the location. It at Human Ghat. From the hotel you can see the Gangaur Ghat. Jagadish temple, Bagore ki Haveli, City Palace are walkable. Hotel is not as luxury as Hotel Lake Pichola, but excellent value for money. I suggest the hotel. Ask for Lake facing room in Ground Floor. BTW views from restaurant at top floor is great too.

Awesome location and good clean room. Very courteous staff and helpful Manager. Loved our short stay. Would be great if the hotel plans to improve a bit in terms of Morning Breakfast.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property in Udaipur. The scenic views are stunning, and the hotel is well-maintained and located in a prime area. The famous Shamiana rooftop lake-view restaurant within the property is a great highlight. The hotel is conveniently located in the same lane as popular restaurants like Upre and Ambrai, just a 1–2 minute walk away, which made exploring very easy. The hospitality was excellent. We received timely check-in, and on the checkout day, since our train was scheduled for the evening, the staff safely stored our luggage. They even provided us access to a room used as a store room so we could change comfortably before leaving, a very thoughtful gesture. Location, hospitality, and food, everything was amazing. I would definitely recommend this property to friends and family. If you are looking for a hotel with beautiful views, a prime location, and major attractions within walking distance, this is the perfect choice.
