Worst hotel ever — dirty, smelly rooms, filthy restaurant with cockroaches everywhere, rude staff in the old building, constant Wi-Fi issues, and frequent power cuts. Avoid this place at all costs.

booked 2 rooms at this hotel and was very disappointed with the overall experience. The reception staff named Basheer was extremely rude and showed no manners in dealing with clients. Instead of being helpful, his attitude made our stay stressful. On top of that, we were not given proper Wi-Fi access and the service was below expectations. For the price paid, the hospitality was very poor, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Rameswaram.

When we first checked in, we were given a room with no TV and no tap in the washroom. When we asked the bellboy, he casually said, “TV kharab ho gaya.” My husband had to complain to our travel agent, after which they finally gave us a slightly better room. The next morning’s breakfast was equally disappointing. The setup looked more like a langar – no service staff, dirty tables, and a wait of at least 10 minutes just to get plates. When dishes were finished, they were not refilled, and the taste of the food was pathetic. Honestly, it’s better to eat outside than have such food.
