Unbelievably Frustrating Experience with Goibibo

I cannot express how disappointed I am with the service provided by Goibibo. I made a reservation for Hotel Rajpal Palace in Udaipur for December 25th, but due to an unfortunate error, I mistakenly selected January 25th. Recognizing the mistake immediately, I reached out to Goibibo customer service on the very same day. What followed was an excruciatingly long and drawn-out process, marked by false promises and a complete lack of transparency. Despite numerous calls to rectify the situation, the customer service representatives consistently assured me that the issue would be resolved within 24 hours. Regrettably, this was far from the truth. After two weeks of persistent efforts, I was informed that they had received a cancellation confirmation from the hotel. However, the promised update within 24 hours never materialized, leaving me stranded without a clear resolution. Shockingly, on January 25th, the hotel itself reached out to confirm my check-in plans, exposing a glaring communication gap between Goibibo and its partner hotels. This ordeal has not only caused substantial inconvenience but has also tarnished my perception of Goibibo's commitment to customer satisfaction. The lack of urgency, accountability, and effective communication is utterly disappointing. It is disheartening to witness such a fundamental breakdown in the booking process, especially when the mistake was promptly communicated. I implore Goibibo to take immediate action to rectify this situation. My urgent request for a date change to December 25th, 2023, or a cancellation needs immediate attention. The current state of affairs has not only wasted my time and energy but has also led to financial implications. This experience has left me with no choice but to express my grievances openly, and I sincerely hope that Goibibo takes this feedback seriously to prevent others from enduring similar frustrating ordeals. My trust in Goibibo has been severely compromised, and I am reconsidering any future bookings with the platform.

rooms was not bad at this price,but service was quite bad,i don't like it.we ask water for room but they did't serve that we collect it from their kitchen by own.food is not also available there.overall its not for family stay.

The worst hotel to stay Nothing works. We booked by goibibo.com and we were very surprised to see the room facility. We stayed there for 2 days and we copmlain for bathroom flush after checkin but it was not rectified till our checkout. If you order something it takes minimum 45 minuts to be deliver. Never wants to recomend

Rooms and toilets are clean. Ambience is good. Rooms are not humid or there is no pungent smell. The restaurant service is quite slow and food is not so great. So avoid the hotel restaurant. There are many hotels available to have good food in the area. Overall the hotel is a great choice for someone having a low budget.

The good part is they allowed 24 hour check in / check out. We checkin at 7:30 am and they provide good service. From restaurant We have ordered glass of milk only. By seeing the menu the price is reasonable. They provide very good service and if you are compare them with 3 star or 5 star hotel, then you will not found hospitality. Tips- 1) they provde the clock room, so for the last day you can make a checkout and put your luggage in clock room. 2) If you have stayed over there then they provide us room for 15-30 min for fresh up. 3) If you are travelling from travels then its 100 meters away from all the travels pickup and drop points.
