We visited Jaipur on a short business trip and having previously stayed at MM, wanted to stay there again. The rooms seem to be upgraded from my previous trip, very clean and the staff is as cordial as the owner. The staff even woke up at 2 AM to get us a coke and gave it with a smile. The smile shows the attitude of the host towards the guests. Food, as always was superb. Do try the Jaisalmer Laal Maas at Handi.

Deja Vu

Visited Jaipur on a family vacation this Diwali. Stayed at Maya Mansion on our week long trip. Rooms were ok. Not very exceptional or extraordinary. But given the tariff at which the rooms were offered it was indeed value for money. An ideal place to stay for those who want a clean place to stay after a day long outing. The support staff here was very good in terms of services that they offered. Special mention must be given to Mr Babu Qureshy who lived upto the phrase "service with a smile".He was very prompt and cordial when ever he was called for any requirement. A short heighted man but with a big heart. Thanks a lot Mr Qureshy for all your assistance. Another person who deserves a round of applause is Mr Hem Raj, the front desk officer. He was excellent with his job. Only negative thing with the rooms were that they used to turn into gas chambers when the tandoors of the restaurant were fired up for service. My humble request to the management, please do something about it. Also visited the iconic Handi restaurant twice during my stay at the Maya Mansion. Regret to mention that quality of both the food and service has dropped. I refered to this restaurant as"Iconic" coz it was the place for a "must visit" when ever I've visited Jaipur since 2005. Jaisalmeri Laal Maas and Keema Baati, a speciality of this restaurant was dismal this time. Tandoori Chicken was only the saving grace this time. My personal request to the management to kindly look into this issue. All in all it was a mixed experience this time. Jaipur is like a second home to me. I would love to settle down here someday, Insha Allah. Although Im from Delhi, but like Jaipur more. Love the food ambience and people here. Got to see the blue skies throughout my week long stay here. Blue skies have become an object of fantasy here in Delhi. Pollution rules here be it the environment or the minds. Thanks a lot Jaipur for making me oblivious of the chaos to which I've just returned. Shall be back again. Adios.

Smelly Rooms, Geysers NotWorking, Overcharged for Water Bottles.

Stayed there for 2 nights. Rooms are spacious but the basic facilities are pathetic in this hotel. In both of our rooms geysers were not working and we have to call for bucket of water each time. There is only once service boy who serves the whole hotel so waiting time is too much. We called for tea and it took half hr for the tea to arrive. We asked for water bottle and we were charged twice the printed price (Rs. 40 per water bottle).
