Horrible 1.entrance gate was chained and locked from inside even though we informed our late arrival by 12 am . 2.rude behaviour of the manager , even blaming us for late arrival despite the fact that hotel guarantees late check in 3 . Subordinate staff also were blaming us for ‘disturbing’ them in late night 4.with each and every dealing with them we felts that we have arrived at some free of cost ‘satra’ despite we did full payment online days back Overall the agency has to clarify on what basis they highlight such hotels

We stayed in Hotel KRA during our visit to Thanjavur in Jan. The Hotel is centrally located near the Bus stand and is easy to find. The major attraction in Thanjavur - the Brihadeeshwara Temple is hardly 1 km from the Hotel. The Hotel in itself is neat and clean. The rooms are large with all basic facilities and a decent bathroom. However, there is no restaurant here and they bring food from another restaurant if you order. That is not very tasty and certainly not worth the money. There are other better restaurants nearby and we went out for lunch and dinner on all days. Overall the Hotel KRA is fine for budget stay in Thanjavur but if you prefer in-room dining look at other options !!

We stayed in the hotel on 24th Feb. For the amount we paid (Aprox Rs 1800) for the double room, the facilities are less. 1) No exclusive parking area. Parking is shared with a hospital. Seems the management of both hotel and hospital are same. 2) The bathroom was not very clean. Could see some small insects running around. 3) The geyser was not working. 4) All rooms are in the ground floor 5) Helpful room boy/security 6) We didnt eat from there. Not sure whether they have a restaurant. 7) Hotel is about 1 KM from the Brihadeswara temple. 8) No bar. 9) Receptionist demanded to pay entire amount while check in itself. 10) Over all - Can be recommended just for a overnight stay. The room price is more for the facilities provided.

It a decent hotel with limited options available...I have selected this hotel as I was traveling to Thanjavur by car & need proper parking space...they do have a parking space but shared with hospital...maximum 8-9 cars can be parked there..there are two garment shops available next to the hotel...rooms were clean & spacious..geyser is available in bathroom so no hot water problem..friendly staff...service man available for tea-coffee, but always ask for money (as usual)

Neat and clean budget hotel, but not conspicious from the road. it is a small lodge, but clean and neat. it is quite calm and peaceful inspite of being in a hospital bearing the same name. staff are friendly. has clean toilet and has 24 hours hot water.
