This Hotel DEFIES every definition you know about a decent hotel. It can be called Guest house or cheap Homestay but not a Hotel. Here are reasons why. - No proper reception, there is one small toilet size room where Reception is. - Hotel Manager (while I appreciate it) does multiple jobs like Receptionist / Manager / Makes tea during breakfast and many others. - Coming to most important aspect Rooms, rooms walls are plastered with Artificial Lawns and floor clad with cheap red carpet, this give dungee feeling like not other. - Most unique thing is floor has Slope of almost 20-30 degrees, if it was little more you can almost slide through the room. - Another unique thing rooms do not have ceiling fans, it has a wall mounted fan on wall just besides TV. - Door closing knobs are broken, poor / rusted paint job, not extra points for mobile charging. - Only recreational activity they have is a Pool table with Missing balls and broken cues, Room which pool table is flooded with extra dirty Mattresses on back with very little space to play. - You will be met with bunch of garbage on your way to Room. Only one star I will give here for decent food they served. Don't be fooled by photos they have put up or reviews by local guides. Look at photos and decide for yourself if you wish to stay here.

Worst service ever.....We have reached at around 5.00 pm, there is no hot water in bathroom as per policy of hotel they start it only in morning. TV, phone not working in any of our room ( we have 03 room ). Service is very bed even you have to call 3-4 times even for drinking water. food is average. So, I strongly not recommend this hotel in kausani......

My stay at Kausani Retreat was awesome. If there is an option, I would have given 10 stars. Dhermendra and his team made our stay wonderful with their great hospitality. The property was awesome. You can enjoy mountain view from the property. Food was awesome.Room were spacious and clean. The staff members - Narendra and others were very helpful. We have a small kid and they helped us in all possible way to make our stay comfortable. We are definitely looking forward for our next visit. Thanks Dhermendra,Narendra and all the staff members.

It is awesome hotel and its facilities are found fabulous and hygienic...its rooms are spacious with all facilities like hot water etc. Hotel staffs are so cooperative. Sports,music and food with good facilities are available in this resort

Bad experience with the hotel as no body bother for their services at the same distance and even management don't bother for local behaviours as every body knows that atithi devo bhav specially in travel industry which we don't even can imagine at this hotel
