I stayed in Himani's vertigo in February 2019.This hotel is located in the heart of Chandigarh where you have easy access to anything in Chandigarh. The rooms were clean, the washroom was decent and there were proper kits ( shaving kit , soaps, comb and a shower cap). Also, the staff is very courteous and is professional in it's dealing. Also the hotel has a decent lounge where alcohol is served at decent price and it also has easy access to CCD.This hotel is also couple friendly..Totally recommended.

Man, Horrible experience. I wonder, why do they even call it a hotel. Horrible experience I had over there. Not to mention the cleanliness, The room was stinky and Air conditioning did not worked properly. I needed water at about 12:30 AM an no one was there to attend even at the reception. Ahhhhhh...... . And how can I stop without mentioning the buffet. What I get is Oil sunk poori, and water and potato in the name of poori bhaji, Tang for the name of juice, and dried sandwich. These guys have a true potential to be awarded as guiness book of world record for worst hospitality services.

The so called manager (Vijay) is extremely inhospitable and crass in his behavior. I've seen him insulting hotel guests in from of my eyes. My personal interaction with his has also been nightmarish. He has some major attitude problems and doesn't perhaps know that the hospitality sector requires a certain degree of courtesy and elegance in one's conduct. Speaking to this person, is like speaking to one of the roadside miscreants. Had I been a part of the senior management of the hotel, I would have fired him ages ago. His misconduct has become soo prominent that no one from my company stays at this hotel now, because of the manager's infamous reputation. A C-grade budget hotel like Himani as it is, has it's struggles in existing in today's competitive market. Their incorrigible manager just adds the extra zing to ensure that the hotel hits it's tombstone in the near future.

The location pf the hotel is no doubt very good, located in the middle of the city Sector 35. The hotel rooms are however small. The rooms are clean and the food is good. However staff needs to be a bit more proactive.

In Brief - Good: Location - good area in town centre Service - polite and helpful Room - reasonably clean Bad: Food - Poor quality Ambiance - bar/restaurant dark and smelly Maintenance - lots of small issues In a very competitive line of hotels in this area this place comes in the middle. Nearby there are places slightly cheaper but a lot worse with noisy AC and dirty. You can tell the place is struggling to stay competitive with nearby smarter hotels at near this price. For a couple of hundred rupees you could get a much better experience. Ok for a tight budget. Room This place has reasonably clean rooms with modern clean and quiet ACs. Bathroom is reasonably clean but some small maintenace issues. Service The reception, room and restaurant service was polite and efficient. Food Don't bother eating here. The bar/restaurant smells bad, is dark , dank and is full of Mosquitos. Accessibility Not at all suitable for disabled.
