Terrible place, incredibly dirty and what's even worse was the service/staff! Parents arrived early only to find disgusting rooms with blood on the bed. Asked to switch room only to be given another gross room. Elderly parents kept locked up until threatened! Absolutely ridiculous! No way to treat guests.

The hotel was always neat and clean, the staff's of the hotel were very polite & helpful & are well mannered. I spent 6 days 5 nights with my wife on their new building, and we enjoyed it. I'm from Bangladesh, & I'm sure next time any time when i will be visiting Calcutta, I will make sure i will stay again at that hotel.

The prices they charge are that of a 4-5 star but the services and amenities they offer are of 3 star level. With common problems like no hot water and then later leading to no water supply at all during morning hours, I found that a tariff of 4500 Rs exclusive of taxes was not worth for such a property. Only to learn later that they don't even provide shampoo with bathing kit. The view was usual city view. Not sure what occurred to them to keep such high class rates. I remember staying at ITC Delhi which is close to airport, and paying the same price, for not to mention great services and ambience.

Nyce Stay for one day. Room was comfortable. Hotel staff courteous. Food can be ordered. We had breakfast in the room . Breakfast was good and nominal at rate. Hotel is centrally placed in city with all major points equally distributed. Less Noisy surroundings
