This is a dreadful hotel!! Goodness! I am falling short of words to describe what an abomination this place is in the name of a hotel. Well, a budget hotel means a hotel with essential and not luxury or fancy facilities; it doesn't mean compromising basic hygiene and cleanliness. I rented a room for one night for transit. We arrived late, around 2300 hours, but check-in wasn't a problem. However, the room was damp, laminates were marked with cigarettes, the curtains were mouldy, the bed sheet - was stained, and the pillow cover was fine. Still, the pillow inside looked like a death threat, and the commode had notable infectious deposits; the showerhead was full of limescale and absolutely unclean and ultimately, the tiles in the bathroom were poorly maintained. Again, I reiterate that the problem is not with the room size as we know it is a budget hotel, but it doesn't mean budget hotels shouldn't clean and maintain whatever they offer. We complained and were shown to another room, which was marginally better than the previous one. As it was late in the night, we just spent it somehow and left ASAP. Please don't be lured by the location. Skip. There are better hotels in the Newtown area near the airport.

I am a travel agent and I had called for booking at Hotel Stand Plaza but its sales representatives are so rude that these people do not have the skills to talk and How to book, how to talk to booking person. So you can understand from this that what kind of behavior would these people do with your guest? its a my request to all Travel agent and Dmc and Guest please never book in this hotel.

we booked this hotel on 7th to 9th, what a bad experience starting from day 1, in the night, person in the reception are rude, I think some guard in the reception. Bathroom are bad, room are not clean, even blanket are dirty( see Picture). in breakfast you get only puri bhaji that too not hot. one of the hotel staff told me that there is serious management issue. some of the customer also complaining about the same in front of me in the reception area. better not stay this kind of Hotel unless they not improve.

I have Been to Kolkata 4 Times but this time I go with This Horror property . How can Someone Give 4 Star or 5 Star Reviews to this Property ? I have Booked this property for 2 Nights . 2 Star Just because of Polite Service other than that Room Full of Spider Web , Used Sheet and they used 2 Single Bed Sheet to Cover one Full Queen Bed (Rarely Seen) . Toilet Jet for Washing is not working , i Have to use our Indian Style to wash my A** . What the Hell ??? They are providing Complimentary Breakfast and what they are giving ?? Uncooked Bread Toast , Seriously !!!! Don't go with Pics online !! Beware of This Property if you don't want to waste your money !! Go with Other property Costing more but don' ever book this property . One thing i Forgot , AC is equal to Turbine engine making a hell lot of noise .
