Tarnish Dining and Cafe

My friend and I stayed in Varanasi for the majority of our time in India (we are from the USA) and Tanish Dining was right across from our homestay. We decided to eat there one night when we decided that we needed a place closer to our lodging and we were incredibly fortunate to have chosen Tanish Dining. The food was spectacular, well presented, and brought out in a timely fashion. The servers were incredibly gracious and happy to give us their recommendations. To top off the experience, we met one of the owners of the establishment, Capt. Raj Kumar, who came to introduce himself and make sure we were enjoying our time spent there. He was extraordinarily kind and, having lived in Alaska, where I call home, was genuinely excited to share his story and ask about mine. We felt very welcome, despite having had a long day, our personal appearance being certainly less than ideal. We highly recommend visiting Tanish Dining and Cafe during your time in Varanasi.
