Not a good experience due to unprofessional staff and management

I had selected this hotel hoping that it will be convenient for me to catch next day's morning train. The stay was disappointing. Initially it was a little difficult to locate the Hotel as it is slightly away from main road. There were other hotels on roadside which appeared cleaner and may be cheaper as well. I had booked a three-bedded room but had to struggle to get things like towel for third family member. Bedsheets, pillow covers etc were not clean. Surprisingly there was no sheet (odhane ka chadar) provided. There was just a strip of 18 inches by 7 feet to decorate the bed and give impression of bed cover or blanket or a sheet. When I asked the staff to provide bedsheets for three of us I was told that I will have to pay rent of Rs 110 per sheet per night! Till date I have stayed in several hotels and has never come to know about such rule. Indian railway provides a bedsheet for ever in this much amount. We had arrived in evening so in order to make use of day we had gone to market and when returned back we tool stock of facilities and realized that we were short by one towel so I asked the boy to provide one more. We were told that they dont have any towel. On further pursuance I was asked that if one towel was not there why I did not report it at the time of check-in? This was an indirect insinuation which insulting. I am sure that other Hotels which are much approachable and close to main road may be better and cheaper too. Let me share with you that I got better and larger rooms at Darjeeling, Pelling, Lachen, Lachung and Gangtok which were cheaper then the room of Debjyoti. I hate to write bad reviews about hotels or restaurants but this hotel did not give me any reason to write a good review. I hope other customers will get better deal if the management learns a lesson.

Reached late night but Staff were very helpfull arranged the food and all requirment was fullfilled on time..Neat and Clean..Also arranged a good cab for Gangtok visit with a reasonable price and on time..

It’s a average hotel. We got a good deal for 3 people. We just wanted to stay for a night as next day we were travelling to Darjeeling. There was one problem, insects were flying in the room and it was smelling, we had to ask the staff to spray insect repellent and room freshner; but he had only room freshner. The staff is good. The food was average.

I stayed here enroute to Darjiling in Feb 2018. Defects galore! Staff unfit!! Poorly lit toilet, toilet peepable from adjoining room, soiled bed cover, no blanket, 5 litre hot water per room.......the list is long. Do not waste money and get heart broken.

Good stay in Siliguri for transit

We stayed at this hotel during our transit from Bagdogra to Pelling. The rooms are good with clean bathrooms. The reason for staying here was that it was close to the TN Bus Stand. The staff were ok. The hotel is a little far from the main road and might be a little difficult to locate. We ordered for breakfast early in the morning around 7 o'clock and had to wait for a while but the food was tasty.
