Nice and affordable place for staying while in Patna.. Situated at prime location, nice service, polite staff, good food and above all very affordable tariff. Cleanliness is good and maintenance is also decent.. Free complimentary breakfast and WiFi. Centrally AC rooms. Tea makers and mini fridges in all rooms. Wooden floor in rooms.

The room was very tidy and stuffed with tea coffee parphernalia and the bed and the duvets were extremely comfortable and offered me uninterrupted sleep. The breakfast spread was quite impressive with Puris, assorted breads, parathas, uttapam, eggs to order, juice and healthy stuff like corn flakes etc. The hotel offers 24 hours check-in check out facility and the dining outlet is also pretty good. In short very good value for money and centrally located.

This hotel doesn't provide any basic fecilities for which they are charging such high tariff.. All the rooms are looking shabby and the toilets are pretty ordinary.. Only consolation is the rate of the foods and quality which is decent. Hotel Astor should think over the pricing of room.

For Patna, this is more than adequate, considering you are on a business trip and need a room with good airconditioning and working internet. The service is also not bad. Location wise its pretty central. Cleanliness is a bit of hit and miss. Rooms are spacious enough.

I checked in at around 9.30 pm and was told that i had no booking. When i showed them my copy, then i was put in a room on 3rd floor. AC stopped working at night. i informed them at around 4 am. No one came. Again told them at 6 am. Someone came and started the AC, but again after some time, it went off and another person came. i could understand that they were not professionals. They were security or housekeeping staff. Then finally i was shifted at around 7.30 am in a different room on 1st floor. Room poor. No shower curtains in toilet. Exhaust not working. On day 3 when i came in the evening the room was as i had left in the morning. Tea cups lying. Previous night dishes of dessert not removed and the toilets in the same way. I called the Manager also, who first said he would send Housekeeping staff, but then i insisted he must come and see. That was the worst experience i had in my life. Wont recommend this hotel.
