Before booking any rooms here please be aware thyat none of the rooms except the taj view rooms have any windows. The hotel people conveniently hide this fact at the time of booking. Also the rooms are dark, small and have no comfort feelings. Hospitality is zero and when we checked in we asked for some drinking water which never came. The hotel receptionists are uncaring and do not make you feel welcome at all. Please do not book any rooms here unless this is the only available hotel in Agra.

Great place - it has a very polished, upmarket feel. Shower was sensational and my bed was comfortable although I did have to flip over the mattress (always a good hack in old hotels). Staff were friendly and breakfast was simple but nice. Location is on a main road a bit away from the Taj area but still fine for Ubers etc. Less impressed with the rooftop restaurant. They were playing blaring loud dance music even though there were only a couple of tables in. And it’s very overpriced - 280 rupees for a bowl of rice.

Despite its promising name, the Taj view room disappointingly offers no actual view of the iconic monument. The paradoxical situation leaves guests anticipating a breathtaking sight only to find it absent, questioning the accuracy of marketing claims and emphasizing the importance of managing expectations in hospitality.
