Worn Out Airport Hotel is Fine for One Night

Look, this is a standard, plain old, sorta worn out airport hotel. You're staying here because of the location, not because of the amenities. It's fine, it's across the street from the Buffalo airport, and it is what it is. I slept just fine, not super comfortably but well enough for a one night stay. The room was reasonably clean and in a state of disrepair, but nothing that I couldn't deal with. I do think this hotel is overpriced for what it is, and it seems there are no deals to be had here. I was also disappointed that I wasn't given any sort of upgrade nor acknowledgement for being a Hilton Diamond member. Since my flight arrived after midnight, I took advantage of the free shuttle from the airport. I was traveling alone and didn't feel unsafe at all. I had to call the hotel to request the shuttle, and it arrived within 10 minutes even well after midnight. The driver was nice and got super excited when I slipped her a $5 tip. Apparently not many customers tip, so throw the driver a few bucks to make their day or night. I also rode the shuttle back to the airport to pick up my rental car the next day. I took advantage of the 24 hour shop in the lobby, it's a well stocked pantry and since I was starving, I got a few bottles of water and a cup of instant Oatmeal. I loved that my room had a microwave and fridge, which came in handy. The bed was comfortable, the shower was hot, and I slept just fine (considering I had to get up super early the next day). I mean, this again is just an airport hotel and I would not stay here for any other reason except that I have a flight or am arriving from a flight. This isn't a vacation type spot at all.

Super nice hotel. Had drinks free for us and all the staff was great. Perfect place right across from the airport. McDonalds within walking distance...like 1 min. Staff was amazing and super nice. Good place to stay.

This hotel ripped us off. My registration confirmation said I would be charged 169/night for 3 nights. They realized when checking in they made a mistake at booking and needed to change a higher rate because they’re was now an NBA basketball game in town and charged my credit card $700. Would not own their mistake and threatened to kick us out if we didn’t pay the higher rate. Wouldn’t even give us a free breakfast for the mistake.

The hotel was clean but the jacuzzi didn’t work the Internet trash. The front desk lady was trash. The best thing about the hotel is the bartender Alexis. I would not recommend this hotel to my calls kept dropping because of the Internet service and Wi-Fi me and my client page because I can’t read text messages due to the Wi-Fi.

Friendly and competent staff. Restaurant surprisingly good for this kind of facility. Room okay although beginning to show a bit of aging. But the low review is from price gouging by Hilton. Two cheap paper cups, no extra blankets or pillows, an outrageous $75 charge for pets. We stayed the next night in a Staybridge that was nicer in every regard, charged a reasonable $25 for our dog, and overall was $75 cheaper for much better place.
